Birthday Card Using Waffle Flower’s “We Herd” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing another birthday card with you, this time using Waffle Flower’s “We Herd” stamp set!
12
I started by stamping out the group of rabbits in my Misti stamping tool using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and colouring them with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details before fussy cutting them out. I used Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut three panels from white card stock, two of the second largest size and one of the largest. I cut a section from the middle of one of the smaller panels. I stamped the top and bottom sections with the confetti stamps using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink.
43
I took the bottom section and secured it in my Misti, stamping my sentiment on to it using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again. I blended the middle section of the smaller panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and the edges of the larger panel with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.
56
I adhered my two sections and the bunnies tucked in to the bottom with Scor-Tape. I adhered this to my larger panel and on to my card base.

Encouragement Card Using Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I’m back this week with a relatively simple encouragement card using Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” stamp set! I’ve always been called a dreamer and I’m typically drawn to the night sky, particularly the moon so when I saw this set I knew I’d get a lot of use from it straight away!
12
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and used Black Soot Distress Ink with some water to paint my panel. You could easily just use some black card stock for the base but I liked the added texture it gave my background! I used a combination of sponges and brushes to layer Dusty Concord and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks on different parts of my panel to give the look of a galaxy/night sky. I splattered it with white metallic watercolour paint and left it to dry for a moment while I cleaned up.
345
Once my splattering was dry I secured my panel in to my Misti and used my powder tool applicator so embossing powder would only stick to where I wanted it to. I used Versamark ink to stamp my sentiments, coated them in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder and set them with my heat tool. I decided to paint the moon and clouds with metallic watercolour paints to make them pop against the background a little more.
678
I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock and adhered my other panel to it’s centre before adhering this to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment and set my card somewhere safe to allow them to dry overnight.

Birthday Shaker Card Using Avery Elle’s “Phonomenal” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a shaker card I made for a friend’s birthday using the Avery Elle “Phonomenal” stamp set! We all know how much I love food stamps by now so these were a must have for me!
12
I stamped my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add details and highlights before fussy cutting them all out. I used a craft knife to cut slits between the noodles so I could tuck my ingredients in to place and adhered them using Scor-Tape.
34
I cut two panels from white card stock using the Mama Elephant “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts, in the smaller panel I cut the slots out using one of the dies from Avery Elle’s “Focal Point Stripes” Elle-ments. I took the larger of the panels and a piece of white card stock I cut big enough to cover the back of my window, I blended them both with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed these panels with my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water.
5
I adhered acetate to the back of my window area with Scor-Tape and used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to frame the window to keep the sequins in place. I dusted the inside of the window including the edges of the foam tape with my powder tool applicator to allow the sequins to move around more freely without getting stuck. I chose some iridescent sequins and hearts to fill my shaker and adhered the panel I prepared earlier to trap them inside.
67.jpg
I secured a strip of white card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and trimmed it in to a banner shape.
8.jpg
I adhered my panels together using Scor-Tape, also adhering my images flat to my window panel with it. I popped up my sentiment across the bowl using foam tape before adhering everything to my card base with Scor-Tape.

Thanks for reading lovelies! I won’t be here next week with another card as I’ll be spending time travelling around Scotland to gigs and spending time with my family, but I’ll be back again on May 12th! See you then!

Simple Friendship Card Using Concord & 9th’s “Mix Tape” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies! Happy Easter!
This week I’m sharing a simple friendship card, I love the “Mix Tape” stamp set from Concord & 9th, it’s perfect for any music lover!
2
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and secured it in my Misti stamping platform using the magnets. I stamped the layer that is used to colour within the lines of the Mix Tape stamps to stamp my pattern in Iced Spruce and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. When I had finished stamping my pattern I stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and cut my sentiment strip down to size. I adhered my sentiment to the bottom right of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
1
I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a black panel to frame my patterned panel.
3.jpg
I adhered my panels together using 1/2″ Scor-Tape.
4.jpg
It was at this point I felt like it looked too clean and simple for my liking, so I masked off any areas I didn’t want to get splatter on with some Post-It Tape. I used Broken China and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink to splatter my panel. Once the ink splatters were dry I adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape and added some Ebony Black Nuvo Drops for embellishment.

Just Because Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Wish Upon A Star” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
“Just because” cards are probably my favourites to make, as I tend to send cards to my loved ones quite often out of the blue to let them know I’m thinking of them. The “Wish Upon A Star” stamp set from Mama Elephant is adorable and I had to get it, especially when I saw that bunny on the moon!
1
I stamped all of the images out in my Misti using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured the three images I planned to use for my card using my alcohol markers. I added white highlights and details using a gel pen before I fussy cut them out.
23.jpg
I cut a small scalloped panel from white card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts. I secured it in my Misti and stamped the clouds using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink again. I coloured the clouds with my alcohol markers using the colourless blender to blend the grey ink out a little. I used Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts to cut a window towards the top of my panel.
4
I cut another panel from white card stock using the small scalloped die and blended it with Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered it with some white metallic watercolour paint to give the illusion of stars. Once the paint was dry I adhered this background behind my panel with the clouds so the colour would only show behind the window. I adhered the bunny sitting on the moon flat to my panel using Scor-Tape and popped the cloud up just below him with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
5
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I put down some pink metallic watercolour paint on to my glass craft mat, sprayed it with water and placed my card stock in to it repeatedly, being sure to dry it using my heat tool between layers. I splattered the panel with the same watercolour paint (slightly more concentrated) and set aside to dry. While the paint was drying I stamped my sentiment on a strip of white card stock using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink again and cut in to the ends to create my banner. I adhered my scalloped panel to my background panel with the watercolour paint, adhered my sentiment banner flat under the window using Scor-Tape and popped the bunny up to the side of it using foam tape. I cut one last panel from white card stock to frame my scene using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and adhered everything to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Friendship Card Using Concord & 9th’s “Feathered” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a quick and simple friendship card because sometimes we need need something quick and easy on hand to brighten someone’s day! The “Feathered” stamp set from Concord & 9th is so versatile and perfect for this!
1
I cut a panel down from white card stock using the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I used Gina K’s Amalgam “Jet Black” ink to stamp one of the feather images in a pattern all over my panel. I used my Misti stamping tool to hold my panel in place while I stamped my pattern.
2.jpg
While I was waiting on the ink drying on my panel I prepped some black card stock with my powder tool applicator and stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink, coated it in gold embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. Once the embossing powder had cooled I trimmed my sentiment down in to a strip to go across my panel.
3.jpg
Now that the ink on my patterned panel was dry I splattered it with two shades of gold metallic watercolour paint to add a little extra texture.
45.jpg
I used Scor-Tape to adhere my sentiment across my panel once my splattered paint was dry. I mounted my patterned panel on to a black panel I had cut down using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and adhered them to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Cute Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Let’s Toast” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m here to share a cute love/friendship themed card using Lawn Fawn’s “Let’s Toast” stamp set! I love sending these cards to my closest friends and not only my significant other, just to let them know how much I care!
1.jpg2.jpg
I stamped some of the images from the set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added a little extra shading to my toaster using coloured pencil to give it some extra texture as well. I stamped the images’ rosy cheeks with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, added some highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting out my images. I used a craft knife to cut a slit in the first toaster slot so I could adhere one of my pieces of toast inside the toaster with ease!
345.jpg
I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to the height I wanted for the base of my panel and cut it with the second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I cut a panel from white card stock using the same die, lightly blended it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and splattered it with the same colour for added texture on my background. I cut a thin piece of white card stock to make a border between the patterned paper and my background, I blended it with some Iced Spruce distress oxide ink lightly before adhering all my pieces together.
67.jpg
I adhered my toaster with the toast popping out slightly flat to my panel. I wanted the other slice popped out completely, so I stamped the motion lines with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink above my toaster before popping the other slice of toast and the butter up with some 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. For my sentiment I cut down a thin strip of black card stock and prepared it with my powder tool. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink, I coated it in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder, set it with my heat tool and popped it up with foam tape also. I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel of black card stock to frame my scene and adhered everything to my card base.

Cute Valentine Card Using Stamps From Heffy Doodle & Mama Elephant!

Hey lovelies!
I’m here with an extra post today as I wanted to publish this in time for Valentine’s Day this week! This is my personal favourite of all the cards I’ve created for the occasion this year!
1.jpg2.jpg
I started by drawing a rough estimate I wanted the shape of my pile of letters to be. I took my small envelope stamp from Heffy Doodle’s “Yappy Happy Mail” stamp set and stamped a couple along the bottom using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I created masks for the envelopes using some post it tape. I repeated the masking and stamping process until I was happy with how it looked.
3.jpg4.jpg
I cut a section of the letters out with the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and proceeded to colour my envelopes with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights to the hearts on the envelopes with a white gel pen and fussy cut the top edge.
56.jpg
I cut a panel using the same die from white card stock and blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink up from the bottom to the point where it would peek above the pile of letters. I blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink from the top of the panel and together with the Worn Lipstick before spraying the entire panel with my Distress Sprayer. Once my pink panel was completely dry I prepared it with my powder tool applicator as I wanted to emboss my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment from Mama Elephant’s “Flying With Friends” stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool. I adhered my pile of letters flat to the bottom of the panel.
7.jpg8.jpg
I stamped my pig image from Mama Elephant’s “Hogs and Kisses” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights with my gel pen before fussy cutting him out also. I popped him up on my pile of letters using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I wanted to add some extra envelopes so I stamped, coloured and fussy cut a couple out separately before popping them up with foam tape around my pig and in the pile of letters for some added dimension. I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and blended it with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink, I distressed my panel with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. Once my panel was dry I adhered everything together to my card base.

Simple Happy New Year Cards Using Mama Elephant’s “Happy New Year Wishes” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that 2018 treated you well, now we’re speeding towards 2019 I thought I’d share with you some simple cards I made to welcome in the new year with you all! New Year cards aren’t typically a tradition here in the UK but with Mama Elephant’s “Happy New Year Wishes” stamp set how is a girl supposed to say no?!
1.jpg
I started by making some very simple backgrounds using Distress Oxide Ink and metallic watercolour paint. I cut a panel of white card stock down to the size I needed for this, I smooshed some Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink on to my glass crafting mat and sprayed it with water. I placed my card stock down in to the ink in a random fashion and dried it after lifting it each time to get the layered effect, I repeated this process multiple times with my inks and gold metallic watercolour paint. I used Broken China Distress Oxide Ink for the blue example and I did a simple white and gold version with the leftover metallic watercolour paint that I didn’t want to waste after I had finished with my coloured panels!
2.jpg
I cut each of my panels using the largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts once they were all completely dry. I used my powder tool applicator over all of my panels, stamped my sentiment in the centre using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool.
3
I cut some black panels from the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, as these are slightly larger than the dies I used for my front panel I felt they gave it a nice border with the stitched detail!
P11 ME Happy New Year Wishes
I adhered each of my panels to my card bases and finished them off with some Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops, leaving them to dry for 24 hours in a safe place undisturbed. I really love the marbled effect you can achieve with this technique!
P11 ME Happy New Year Wishes 2

Thanks for reading lovelies! Happy New Year for a few days time, I hope you all have fun celebrating and I’ll see you next week with another card!
