Encouragement Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Book Worm” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I have a sweet encouragement card using a new-to-me stamp set, Mama Elephant’s “Book Worm”! I’ve loved this set ever since I spotted it and knew I had to make a card to share with all of you!
12
I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink to stamp my images from the set, I used some post-it tape to mask one pile of books so I could build a taller pile also. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added highlights and details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
3
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock, I also used the largest from this set to cut a black panel to frame this panel at the end. I drew two lines where I wanted to separate my background to imitate the floor and wall, I coloured in between the lines with my alcohol markers. I masked up to the line with post-it tape and used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink for the bottom section of my panel. I masked the bottom section up to the line next and blended the top portion of my panel with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.
45
I secured my blended panel in to my Misti and stamped my sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I arranged and adhered all of my images using Scor-Tape and 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, framed my panel with the black panel I mentioned earlier and adhered to my card base.

Valentine’s Day Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Stud Puffin” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I have a Valentine’s Day card to share with you this week using the “Stud Puffin” stamp set from Lawn Fawn!
123
I started by stamping my images using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured my images using my alcohol markers, added highlights and details using a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out. I used Lawn Fawn’s “Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables” and “Lacy Heart Stackables” die sets to cut out two of the medium hearts from white card stock. I set my images and the lacy heart die cut to the side so I could stencil my other heart. I used the “Stained Glass Background” stencil from Honey Bee Stamps with Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks to colour my die cut before adhering both of my hearts together with Scor-Tape. I used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to pop my images up on my heart.
4
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and a black panel using the largest of the set. I used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to blend my white panel, splattered it with some water to distress it and cleaned up any excess. I also used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink diluted with some water to splatter my panel also.
5.jpg67.jpg
Once my splattered panel was dry, I wrapped some light blue and white twine around the centre, making sure the twine crossed over itself. I then secured it in my Misti to stamp my sentiment from Waffle Flower’s “Sending Love” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I popped my heart up in the centre of the twine using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Love Themed Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Sending Love” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Now with the holidays over we can sometimes start to feel a little lost, not knowing what to really create for next! I’ve decided to start on some Valentine’s Day/Love themed cards to get over the holiday blues. Starting with the adorable “Sending Love” stamp set from Waffle Flower!
123.jpg
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. In one of the white panels I cut a heart window using the medium die from Lawn Fawn’s “Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables” dies, I’ll be using this window as a stencil to blend on to my second panel. I placed Honey Bee Stamps’ “Stained Glass Background” stencil over my white panel and secured it in place before lining up my panel with the heart window on top of that. I used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to blend over my stencils, creating a jewel effect on the heart. I removed the stencils and cut another small heart window on a smaller piece of card stock, placed it over my panel slightly overlapping my larger heart, I blended it with Shaded Lilac and a little Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.
456
I wrapped some blue and white twine around my panel, adhering it on the back with some washi tape. I secured my panel in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my sentiment just above the twine using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I stamped my image using my Misti and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again and coloured it with my alcohol markers. I added highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting it out and adhering it to my panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Just Because Card Using Hero Arts’ “Staggering Branches” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies! Happy New Year! I hope you all had an amazing time celebrating and are walking in to the new year feeling refreshed, looking forward to the year ahead!
This week I have a simple watercolour card to share with you all using the “Staggering Branches” stamp set from Hero Arts! This style of stamp is usually out of my comfort zone, but I’m trying to push myself this year to try new things and not get stuck in a creative rut (we all know what it’s like to hit that wall!).
1
I secured a piece of watercolour paper in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my images in the arrangement I wanted using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I love how with this stamp set you can customise the image to your liking with the antlers and branches, it gives you a lot of creative freedom! Once I had my images stamped how I wanted, I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut out my panel. I usually cut my panel first, but I wasn’t sure which placement I wanted beforehand this time so I found it easier to stamp first in this case! I used Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan Set with my Altenew Watercolor Brush in medium to paint my images.
23.jpg
While the paint was drying I secured a piece of black card stock in my Misti, prepped it with my powder tool applicator and stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink. I coated my sentiment in Lawn Fawn’s White Embossing Powder and set it with my heat tool before trimming my sentiment down to size. I used a white gel pen to add faux stitching along the edges of my sentiment and popped it up in the bottom right of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I added highlights and details to my images using my white gel pen once again. I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock to frame my watercolour panel and adhered them together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Holiday Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Oh Puppy Tree” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a simple card using Mama Elephant’s “Oh Puppy Tree” stamp set! I’m absolutely in love with this set, all of the puppies are adorable and it’s easy to mass produce simple cards with, perfect for the holiday season!
1
I started by stamping out my image on white card stock, I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. With larger images it’s often difficult to get a clear, crisp image with stamping one time so the Misti comes in handy to keep your card in place while you stamp it again. I coloured my images with my alcohol markers, I added some spots to a couple of the dogs and drew around them with a black pen. I used a white gel pen to add details and highlights before fussy cutting it out.
2
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I blended my panel with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and distressed it with some water. I cleaned up any excess water before splattering my panel with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink, blue metallic watercolour paint and white metallic watercolour paint and set aside to dry.
3
I secured some black card stock in my Misti and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink, coated it in Lawn Fawn’s White Embossing Powder and set it with my heat tool. Once it had cooled I trimmed it down and cut the ends in to a banner shape. I cut a black panel to frame my splattered panel using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and adhered my panels together using Scor-Tape. I popped my image and sentiment up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base.

Birthday Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Pawsome” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m taking a break from the Christmas cards this week to share a birthday card using Waffle Flower’s “Pawsome” stamp set! We’ve all forgotten a birthday or sent a card a little afterwards, so it’s always handy to have one of these cards in your stash for these occasions!
1
I placed some white card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my images from the set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them with my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
23
I cut a polaroid photo frame using Avery Elle’s “Photo Mat Elle-Ments” die set from white card stock. I used Broken China, Twisted Citron, Candied Apple and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks to stamp some of the smaller images from the set in a random pattern on the frame. I took another piece of white card stock and blended it with Broken China and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks, splattered it with some water and once dry I adhered my frame to the background using Scor-Tape before trimming the edges down to size.
5.jpg
I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink to stamp both parts of my sentiment and trimmed them down to size. I framed my sentiments using black card stock so they would pop more on the card.
6.jpg7.jpg
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and a black panel using the largest die from the set. I cut two thin strips of black card stock and adhered them diagonally across my white panel using Scor-Tape. I covered my black lines with post-it tape while I splattered the white areas of my panel using Broken China, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks and set it aside to dry. Once dry, I popped my polaroid frame, characters and sentiments up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I framed my panel with the black panel I cut earlier and adhered to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Holiday Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Fuzzy Hugs” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m sharing another holiday themed card this week! This time I’m using the adorable “Fuzzy Hugs” stamp set from Mama Elephant!
12
I adhered a piece of white card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped all of the images from the set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured all of my images with my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I chose to use the bunnies for this card!
3
I used Heffy Doodle’s “Candy Store” stencil with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to create my pattern on some white card stock before cutting out my heart using Lawn Fawn’s “Lacy Heart Stackables” dies.
45
I used the largest and second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut panels from black and white card stock. I also cut a panel from black card stock using the second largest, and cut a portion of it out using the “Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables” from Lawn Fawn. I splattered my heart piece with silver metallic watercolour paint. Once my heart piece was dry, I adhered it to my white panel using Scor-Tape and secured it in my Misti. I stamped my sentiment above the heart using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I adhered my white panel to my black frame panel using Scor-Tape, and popped up my patterned heart and rabbits using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam tape before adhering my panel to my card base.

Holiday Shaker Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Snow Friends” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I have a holiday shaker card to share with you this week, this time using Mama Elephant’s “Snow Friends” stamp set!
12
I cut my panels and window from white card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I cut a hill shape from the panel I had left from cutting my window and shaded it with a grey alcohol marker and blender pen. I cut some acetate down to size and adhered it to the back of my frame using Scor-Tape and adhered my hill panel in to place.
34
I secured some white card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, adding highlights and details using a white gel pen. I fussy cut them out and popped them up on my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
56
I blended the panel I cut using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts using Shaded Lilac and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks. I distressed the panel using a paint brush and some water, cleaning up the excess water before also splattering my panel with white metallic paint. I doubled up my 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape on the back of my main panel to allow room for my sequins to move inside my card, I dusted my window and the inside of the foam tape as well as my splattered panel using my powder tool to ensure they wouldn’t cling to any particular spots. I added my sequins and sealed off my shaker with my splattered panel.
7
I stamped my sentiment with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink using my Misti stamping tool and cut it out using the smallest of Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I popped it up in the top right hand corner using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape again before adhering my panel to my card base.
