Masculine Birthday Card Using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Music Speaks” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
If you know me you know how much I love music and music themed stamp sets are no different! Someone who shares this passion is my wonderful dad, so this week I thought I’d share the card I’ve made for his birthday this year with you! I fell in love with all the different instruments in Honey Bee Stamps’ “Music Speaks” stamp set the minute I saw them and knew I had to have this one!
12
I cut two panels using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts (one from white card stock and the other from black) and ink blended over them with Heffy Doodle’s “Brick By Brick” stencil using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed the white panel with my distress sprayer and cut a window from it using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts once again. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details to my images before fussy cutting them out.
4.jpg
I secured a small strip of white card stock in my Misti and stamped my sentiment from Avery Elle’s “Peek-A-Boo Scary Pals” stamp set with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and trimmed the ends to make my sentiment banner.
35.jpg
I popped my white and grey brick frame up on my black panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my images together using Scor-Tape before popping them up also. For the sentiment strip I doubled up my foam tape so it pops up slightly further, popped it in place and adhered my panel to my card base.

Birthday Card Using Waffle Flower’s “We Herd” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing another birthday card with you, this time using Waffle Flower’s “We Herd” stamp set!
12
I started by stamping out the group of rabbits in my Misti stamping tool using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and colouring them with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details before fussy cutting them out. I used Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut three panels from white card stock, two of the second largest size and one of the largest. I cut a section from the middle of one of the smaller panels. I stamped the top and bottom sections with the confetti stamps using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink.
43
I took the bottom section and secured it in my Misti, stamping my sentiment on to it using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again. I blended the middle section of the smaller panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and the edges of the larger panel with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.
56
I adhered my two sections and the bunnies tucked in to the bottom with Scor-Tape. I adhered this to my larger panel and on to my card base.

Birthday Card Using Avery Elle’s “Peek-A-Boo Scary Pals” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m still working on building my birthday card stash back up at the moment and wanted to share this card I made using the adorable “Peek-A-Boo Scary Pals” stamp set from Avery Elle! I only used the dinosaur character for this card but there are plenty to choose from!
12.jpg
I started by cutting two panels from white card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts, I cut a small window in my smaller panel using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I stamped my images with Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink using my Misti stamping tool. I coloured them with my alcohol markers, added details and highlights with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
3
I used the balloon stamp from the set to stamp all over my larger panel in a random pattern using Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink again. I coloured them with my alcohol markers and added details using a white gel pen.
45
I ink blended a panel big enough to fit behind my window using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink and sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer. After I cleaned up the excess water I adhered it to the back of my panel using Scor-Tape, before popping my dino in place and adhering my images with Scor-Tape also. I adhered my smaller panel to the centre of my patterned one using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, adhered my panel to my card and added some orange Nuvo drops for embellishment.

Birthday Card Using Avery Elle’s “Legendary” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Today I wanted to share a quick birthday card using Avery Elle’s “Legendary” stamp set!

I started by cutting two white panels using the largest and second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. In the smaller panel I used part of the die from Avery Elle’s “Focal Point Stripes” Elle-Ments to cut my striped window. I blended another piece of white card stock big enough to cover the back of my window with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks, distressed it with my distress sprayer and adhered to my panel using Scor-Tape. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added some details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out and adhering them in place on my smaller panel. I secured my panel in my Misti and stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I blended my larger panel with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink, popped my smaller panel up on it using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered it to my card base.

Celebration Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Tiny Terrarium” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Today I’m sharing a celebration card using the “Tiny Terrarium” stamp set from Waffle Flower! I love the image from this set and knew I wanted to keep the rest of the card simple to let it really shine on it’s own.
12
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my image using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured it using my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights and details with a gel pen and fussy cut it out. I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and cut a window in the centre using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Polygons” Honey Cuts.
34
I cut another panel using the “Basic Rectangles” and ink blended on to it with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I distressed it with my distress sprayer, let it sit for a moment before cleaning up the excess water. I adhered my window panel and backing panel together using Scor-Tape.
56
I secured my panel in my Misti to stamp my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I adhered my image in the centre of the polygon window using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my panel to my card base.

Two Cards Using Waffle Flower’s “Office Birthday” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing two cards using Waffle Flower’s “Office Birthday” stamp set, both relatively simple to make!
P33 WF Office Birthday 2
I was instantly drawn to these adorable hamsters as soon as I saw this set! I had to make a birthday card using them and decided to go for a more masculine feel, keeping the hamsters as the pop of colour in the corner!
I stamped my images using my Misti stamping platform with Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them with my alcohol markers, added some details and highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I cut two panels using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative cuts, the larger from black card stock and the smaller from white. I used the “Candy Store” stencil from Heffy Doodle, turned it on it’s side slightly so the corner reached across my white panel. I masked off the rest of my panel where I didn’t want to get ink before blending Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink over my stencil. I sprayed my panel with my distress sprayer, cleaned up the excess water before splattering my panel with the same ink. I cut a small panel using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Polygons” Honey Cuts from white card and adhered my hamsters to it as I would be using this for my focal point. I adhered the two back ones using Scor-Tape and the middle with some 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I prepared a strip of black card stock with my powder tool applicator, stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder. I adhered my black strip across my panel using Scor-Tape and popped my polygon with my hamsters up on the bottom left using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my panels together and on to a card base before finishing with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops.
P33 WF Office Birthday 1
For my second card I cut two panels once again using the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I stamped the plant image across my panel using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet black ink. I created masks for all three and covered them so I could ink blend over my images. I used a piece of scrap card stock to make my own stencil for this one using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts, adhered this temporarily over my white panel and blended within the circle using Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed the circle with my distress sprayer, cleaned up the excess water, splattered it with Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink before lifting my stencil and removing the masks from my images. I coloured my images using my alcohol markers and added highlights with a white gel pen, I drew some gold lines across the plant pots also using a metallic chalk marker. I prepared a strip of black card stock with my powder tool applicator, stamped my sentiment from the “Tiny Terrarium” stamp set from Waffle Flower using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder. I trimmed down my sentiment and popped it up under my images using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Birthday Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Big News” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Today I’m sharing a birthday card using the adorable “Big News” stamp set from Mama Elephant! I love that this set comes with so many sentiments so it can be used for all different occasions!
12
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added some highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
4
I used the “Watercolor Stripes” stencil from Altenew with Broken China and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks to create what is going to be the background of my panel. I distressed my panel using my distress sprayer and splattered it with Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink.
75
I used the Mama Elephant “Framed Tags Waverly” Creative Cuts to create a window from white card stock and trimmed down my background to fit behind it. I adhered the two together using Scor-Tape.
6.jpg
I adhered my balloons flat to my background with Scor-Tape and my characters with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to give some dimension. Once everything was in place I adhered my panel to my card base with Scor-Tape.

Encouragement Card Using Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I’m back this week with a relatively simple encouragement card using Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” stamp set! I’ve always been called a dreamer and I’m typically drawn to the night sky, particularly the moon so when I saw this set I knew I’d get a lot of use from it straight away!
12
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and used Black Soot Distress Ink with some water to paint my panel. You could easily just use some black card stock for the base but I liked the added texture it gave my background! I used a combination of sponges and brushes to layer Dusty Concord and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks on different parts of my panel to give the look of a galaxy/night sky. I splattered it with white metallic watercolour paint and left it to dry for a moment while I cleaned up.
345
Once my splattering was dry I secured my panel in to my Misti and used my powder tool applicator so embossing powder would only stick to where I wanted it to. I used Versamark ink to stamp my sentiments, coated them in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder and set them with my heat tool. I decided to paint the moon and clouds with metallic watercolour paints to make them pop against the background a little more.
678
I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock and adhered my other panel to it’s centre before adhering this to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment and set my card somewhere safe to allow them to dry overnight.

Sending Hugs With Waffle Flower’s “Group Hug” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m back after a two week break to share a card I made using Waffle Flower’s “Group Hug” stamp set! The images in this stamp set are absolutely adorable, I couldn’t resist that sweet giraffe!
1.jpg
I started by using my Misti stamping platform to stamp out the large image of all the animals hugging with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured it with my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut it out. The image is pretty large so it definitely takes up the majority of your card!
2
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I used the same die to cut the bottom of my image also so the finished result would be cohesive.
3.jpg
I blended over the Heffy Doodle “Dottie Lottie” stencil with Broken China and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks on to my white panel to create my background. I used my distress sprayer to distress the circles and splattered my panel with the same two ink colours to give it more texture.
4
Once my background panel had dried, I used my Misti once again to line up my sentiments and stamp them on to my panel using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I popped my image up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Birthday Shaker Card Using Avery Elle’s “Phonomenal” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a shaker card I made for a friend’s birthday using the Avery Elle “Phonomenal” stamp set! We all know how much I love food stamps by now so these were a must have for me!
12
I stamped my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add details and highlights before fussy cutting them all out. I used a craft knife to cut slits between the noodles so I could tuck my ingredients in to place and adhered them using Scor-Tape.
34
I cut two panels from white card stock using the Mama Elephant “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts, in the smaller panel I cut the slots out using one of the dies from Avery Elle’s “Focal Point Stripes” Elle-ments. I took the larger of the panels and a piece of white card stock I cut big enough to cover the back of my window, I blended them both with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed these panels with my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water.
5
I adhered acetate to the back of my window area with Scor-Tape and used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to frame the window to keep the sequins in place. I dusted the inside of the window including the edges of the foam tape with my powder tool applicator to allow the sequins to move around more freely without getting stuck. I chose some iridescent sequins and hearts to fill my shaker and adhered the panel I prepared earlier to trap them inside.
67.jpg
I secured a strip of white card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and trimmed it in to a banner shape.
8.jpg
I adhered my panels together using Scor-Tape, also adhering my images flat to my window panel with it. I popped up my sentiment across the bowl using foam tape before adhering everything to my card base with Scor-Tape.

Thanks for reading lovelies! I won’t be here next week with another card as I’ll be spending time travelling around Scotland to gigs and spending time with my family, but I’ll be back again on May 12th! See you then!
