Appreciation Card Using Brutus Monroe “Geared Owl” Stamp!

Hello lovelies!
This week I want to share an appreciation card I made using Brutus Monroe’s “Geared Owl” stamp
1
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my image using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured it with my alcohol markers, sticking to grey/brown/golden tones. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights and details before fussy cutting it out.
24
I used Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut out three panels, two from Neenah Classic Crest white card stock and one from black card stock. I cut a window in my smallest panel using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey cuts and splattered my largest panel with black ink and gold metallic watercolour paint.
3
I took a small piece of watercolour paper (big enough to cover the back of my circle window) and used some water to dampen it. I placed spots of metallic watercolour paint randomly on the paper and covered it with clingfilm, scrunching it up to get the textured look I wanted by moving the paint around under it and set it aside to dry.
5
I stamped my sentiment from Heffy Doodle’s “Wingman” stamp set directly on my smallest panel using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I popped this panel up on my watercolour panel and popped my owl up on my panel also using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I used Scor-Tape to adhere all of my panels together and to my card base.

Simple Friendship Card Using Mama Elephant’s “My Pet Puppies” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Today I’m sharing a friendship card using the “My Pet Puppies” stamp set from Mama Elephant!
1
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them with my alcohol markers and added some highlights and details with a white gel pen.
234
I die cut a panel from Neenah 110lb Classic Crest card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I cut a panel using the same die from some watercolour paper and die cut a circle in the centre using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts, this will act as a stencil to get the circle on my white panel. I layered the “Stained Glass” stencil from Honey Bee Stamps over my circle stencil I made and blended on to my white panel using Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks using the “Life Changing Blender Brushes” from Picket Fence Studios. After removing my stencils I splattered my panel with blue and green metallic watercolour paints, once that was dry I popped my images up at the bottom of my circle using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
56
I used my Misti once again to stamp my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, trimmed it down to size and popped it up on my panel with foam tape before adhering my entire panel to my card base.

Just Because Card Using Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Daffodil Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I have a simple card to share with you this week using the Altenew: Paint-A-Flower: Daffodil stamp set!
1
I stamped my images on watercolour paper using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink. I painted my images using the Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set, once they were dry I added some highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
23
I used the Waffle Flower “Nesting Postage” dies to cut out two small panels from Neenah Classic Crest card stock. I used Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink and the “Life Changing Blender Brushes” from Picket Fence Studios to blend ink on to the larger panel and distressed it with some water. I stamped my sentiment on the smaller white panel using Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink and adhered both panels together using Scor-Tape. I used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to pop my image up at the bottom.
456
I cut a panel from black card stock and white card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and splattered the white panel with metallic gold watercolour paint. Once my splatter had dried I adhered both panels together using Scor-Tape, popped my image panel up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base.

Thinking Of You Card Using Brutus Monroe “Rose Garden” Stamp!

Hello lovelies!
I’m back this week with a thoughtful card using Brutus Monroe’s “Rose Garden” stamp! Roses have a special meaning to me so I had to pick this one up!
12
I trimmed down some watercolour paper and put down some ink from my Distress Inks (the oxides will work for this too) in Fired Brick and Abandoned Coral on my glass crafting mat. I mixed them with a little water before also preparing my watercolour paper with water too, to allow the inks to move around easier. I painted both colours on in a random fashion and allowed them to blend together where they met, leaving some areas darker than others. As a last minute decision I added in some gold spots with metallic watercolour paints before scrunching up some clingfilm and covering the watercolour paper, moving the inks and paint around with my fingers through the film until I was happy with it. I set it aside to dry completely before removing the film, this creates different shapes and patterns for your background!
34
Once it had completely dried, I used my powder tool applicator to ensure embossing powder would only stick to where I stamped. I secured the paper in to my Misti stamping tool and stamped my image using Versamark ink. I coated the ink in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I used Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from the area I wanted and splattered it with some gold metallic watercolour paint to add some more texture and shine.
56
I trimmed a panel from black card stock slightly larger than the patterned panel before cutting a white panel and another black panel using the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts once again to frame my patterned panel. I adhered all panels together using Scor-Tape. I stamped my sentiment from Altenew’s “Paint A Flower: Daffodil” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and trimmed it down in to a thin sentiment strip, framing that with some black card also. I popped my sentiment up on my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base.

Birthday Card Using MFTS Stamps “Picture Perfect Party Animals” Stamp Set!

Hello crafty friends!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted or had the chance to craft, so I’m happy to be back! How have you all been? I hope you’re all well!
I’m jumping back in this week with a birthday card made with MFT stamps, the “Picture Perfect Party Animals” stamp set is adorable, I couldn’t resist these parrots being the crazy bird lady I am!
1
I secured some white Neenah card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped the parrot image using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured the image using alcohol markers, adding highlights with a white gel pen and some markings around the parrots’ eyes using a pencil. I used my trimmer to trim out the box for crisp straight lines.
2
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and used the largest from the die set to cut a panel from black card stock. I cut a third panel using Waffle Flower’s “Nesting Postage” die set. I used the Heffy Doodle “UnbeLEAFable” stencil with Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks to create my patterned panel, which I finished up with some metallic paint splatter. I blended my white rectangle panel with the same two inks I used for my patterned panel, I used the Picket Fence Studio “Life Changing” Blender Brushes for all of my blending. I adhered my black and smooth blended panels together using Scor-Tape, popped up my patterned panel in the centre using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and popped up my image also.
34
For my sentiment I took a piece of card stock I had left over from cutting my panels out earlier, secured it in my Misti and stamped using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I adhered it to some black card stock using Scor-Tape and trimmed it down to size so I have a thin border all the way around. I popped it up below my image and adhered my panel to my card base.

Birthday Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Year Ten” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a birthday card using Lawn Fawn’s “Year Ten” stamp set! I love the cute little cacti and the punny sentiment!
12
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used the “Candy Store” stencil from Heffy Doodle at an angle on my panel and blended Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink over it. I removed the stencil and splattered some water over it with a paintbrush, cleaning up any excess water with a paper towel. I masked off the white portion of my panel with some post-it tape and splattered the stencilled part with green and yellow metallic watercolour paint. Once this was dry I stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and wrapped some natural jute twine around my panel, adhering it on the back.
3
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images on white card stock using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, stamped the cheeks on one of them using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, added highlights and details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I cut a small panel using the “Double Stitched Polygons” Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps and blended it with Scattered Straw and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink. I popped both of my images up on the polygon using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
45
I adhered my polygon over the twine with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I cut a black panel using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my panel and adhered both of my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Two Cards Using Hero Arts’ “Fresh Citrus” Bold Prints Stamp!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing two cards I made using the Hero Arts “Fresh Citrus” Bold Prints background stamp! I love these stamps, they make it easy to produce multiple cards!
124
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp the background on to my panel with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, making sure to remove the foam from my Misti beforehand. I stamped a small portion on a small piece of scrap card stock I had left over from a previous project also, so I could colour and fussy cut one of the lemon’s from it to use as an accent later on. I coloured all of the images using alcohol markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.
35
I used Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” to cut a window from my background and set the circle aside for a second card. I adhered blue and white twine to the back of my window panel so it would show only through the circle.
67
I cut a panel the same size as my background and also a slightly smaller one using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I lined up where I wanted my sentiment to go within my circle and using my Misti I stamped it using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I paired stamps from Mama Elephant’s “Sweetest Greetings” and Heffy Doodle’s “Yappy Happy Mail” stamp sets. I popped my window panel up on the sentiment panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, popped up my extra lemon within my circle also and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape.

For my second card I popped my patterned circle up on my white panel I cut previously using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I wrapped twine around the bottom of my panel this time, adhering it on the back once again. I cut a panel from black card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my panel. I stamped my sentiment from Waffle Flower’s “Bear Hugs” stamp set on to a scrap piece of white card stock, trimmed it in to a banner and popped it up across my circle. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Friendship Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “You’re Just My Type” Stamp Set/Mama Elephant’s “Big News” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Valentine’s Day has passed but I like to make my stamp sets work more year round, so to create this card I combined the images from Lawn Fawn’s “You’re Just My Type” stamp set alongside sentiments from Mama Elephant’s “Big News” stamp set!
12
I stamped out my images from Lawn Fawn’s “You’re Just My Type” stamp set using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I cut a panel from white card stack using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and used my Misti and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again to stamp the blank page image in a random pattern. I added shading with a grey alcohol marker and blender marker. I secured my panel back in my Misti and stamped my chosen sentiments from Mama Elephant’s “Big News” stamp set using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.
3
I cut a circle from black card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I partially cut the circle with the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts so it would fit perfectly on my panel in the bottom left corner. I adhered this circle to my patterned panel using Scor-Tape.
45
I adhered my images using Scor-Tape and 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I cut a panel from black card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my panel. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.
