Two Cards Using Hero Arts’ “Fresh Citrus” Bold Prints Stamp!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing two cards I made using the Hero Arts “Fresh Citrus” Bold Prints background stamp! I love these stamps, they make it easy to produce multiple cards!
124
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp the background on to my panel with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, making sure to remove the foam from my Misti beforehand. I stamped a small portion on a small piece of scrap card stock I had left over from a previous project also, so I could colour and fussy cut one of the lemon’s from it to use as an accent later on. I coloured all of the images using alcohol markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.
35
I used Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” to cut a window from my background and set the circle aside for a second card. I adhered blue and white twine to the back of my window panel so it would show only through the circle.
67
I cut a panel the same size as my background and also a slightly smaller one using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I lined up where I wanted my sentiment to go within my circle and using my Misti I stamped it using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I paired stamps from Mama Elephant’s “Sweetest Greetings” and Heffy Doodle’s “Yappy Happy Mail” stamp sets. I popped my window panel up on the sentiment panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, popped up my extra lemon within my circle also and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape.

For my second card I popped my patterned circle up on my white panel I cut previously using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I wrapped twine around the bottom of my panel this time, adhering it on the back once again. I cut a panel from black card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my panel. I stamped my sentiment from Waffle Flower’s “Bear Hugs” stamp set on to a scrap piece of white card stock, trimmed it in to a banner and popped it up across my circle. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Friendship Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “You’re Just My Type” Stamp Set/Mama Elephant’s “Big News” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Valentine’s Day has passed but I like to make my stamp sets work more year round, so to create this card I combined the images from Lawn Fawn’s “You’re Just My Type” stamp set alongside sentiments from Mama Elephant’s “Big News” stamp set!
12
I stamped out my images from Lawn Fawn’s “You’re Just My Type” stamp set using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I cut a panel from white card stack using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and used my Misti and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again to stamp the blank page image in a random pattern. I added shading with a grey alcohol marker and blender marker. I secured my panel back in my Misti and stamped my chosen sentiments from Mama Elephant’s “Big News” stamp set using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.
3
I cut a circle from black card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I partially cut the circle with the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts so it would fit perfectly on my panel in the bottom left corner. I adhered this circle to my patterned panel using Scor-Tape.
45
I adhered my images using Scor-Tape and 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I cut a panel from black card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my panel. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Love Themed Card Using Hero Arts’ “Candy Hearts Peek-A-Boo” Cling Stamp!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing another love themed card, I like to have a few extra of this style on hand to show my appreciation for people throughout the year.
1
I die cut a panel from watercolour paper using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and a large scalloped panel from black card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts. I removed the foam from my Misti stamping tool and secured my watercolour panel to stamp my background using Hero Arts’ “Candy Hearts Peek-A-Boo” Cling stamp set and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. Once the ink was dry I watercoloured my candy hearts using Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan Set and set it aside to dry.
23
I used the Lawn Fawn “Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables” and “Lacy Heart Stackables” dies to cut 3 small hearts from both white and black card stock. I adhered my white hearts to my black hearts and secured them in my Misti. I stamped my sentiments from Mama Elephant’s “Big News” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink.
4
I popped my sentiment hearts up in a row down the centre of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering both of my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Hello lovelies!
Valentine’s Day is just a few days away now, so I’m sharing another love themed card this week! The bunnies from Waffle Flower’s “Love You Bunnies” stamp set are adorable!
1
I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink to stamp my images out on white card stock. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I adhered the coffee cups to their hands using Scor-Tape.
23
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used the smaller scalloped die from Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts to cut a window from one of these panels, this would act as my stencil. I adhered both of my panels together using some washi tape, blended over my stencil with Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and distressed it with some water.

Encouragement Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Book Worm” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I have a sweet encouragement card using a new-to-me stamp set, Mama Elephant’s “Book Worm”! I’ve loved this set ever since I spotted it and knew I had to make a card to share with all of you!
12
I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink to stamp my images from the set, I used some post-it tape to mask one pile of books so I could build a taller pile also. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added highlights and details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
3
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock, I also used the largest from this set to cut a black panel to frame this panel at the end. I drew two lines where I wanted to separate my background to imitate the floor and wall, I coloured in between the lines with my alcohol markers. I masked up to the line with post-it tape and used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink for the bottom section of my panel. I masked the bottom section up to the line next and blended the top portion of my panel with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.
45
I secured my blended panel in to my Misti and stamped my sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I arranged and adhered all of my images using Scor-Tape and 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, framed my panel with the black panel I mentioned earlier and adhered to my card base.

Love Themed Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Sending Love” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Now with the holidays over we can sometimes start to feel a little lost, not knowing what to really create for next! I’ve decided to start on some Valentine’s Day/Love themed cards to get over the holiday blues. Starting with the adorable “Sending Love” stamp set from Waffle Flower!
123.jpg
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. In one of the white panels I cut a heart window using the medium die from Lawn Fawn’s “Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables” dies, I’ll be using this window as a stencil to blend on to my second panel. I placed Honey Bee Stamps’ “Stained Glass Background” stencil over my white panel and secured it in place before lining up my panel with the heart window on top of that. I used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to blend over my stencils, creating a jewel effect on the heart. I removed the stencils and cut another small heart window on a smaller piece of card stock, placed it over my panel slightly overlapping my larger heart, I blended it with Shaded Lilac and a little Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.
456
I wrapped some blue and white twine around my panel, adhering it on the back with some washi tape. I secured my panel in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my sentiment just above the twine using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I stamped my image using my Misti and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again and coloured it with my alcohol markers. I added highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting it out and adhering it to my panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Just Because Card Using Hero Arts’ “Staggering Branches” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies! Happy New Year! I hope you all had an amazing time celebrating and are walking in to the new year feeling refreshed, looking forward to the year ahead!
This week I have a simple watercolour card to share with you all using the “Staggering Branches” stamp set from Hero Arts! This style of stamp is usually out of my comfort zone, but I’m trying to push myself this year to try new things and not get stuck in a creative rut (we all know what it’s like to hit that wall!).
1
I secured a piece of watercolour paper in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my images in the arrangement I wanted using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I love how with this stamp set you can customise the image to your liking with the antlers and branches, it gives you a lot of creative freedom! Once I had my images stamped how I wanted, I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut out my panel. I usually cut my panel first, but I wasn’t sure which placement I wanted beforehand this time so I found it easier to stamp first in this case! I used Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan Set with my Altenew Watercolor Brush in medium to paint my images.
23.jpg
While the paint was drying I secured a piece of black card stock in my Misti, prepped it with my powder tool applicator and stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink. I coated my sentiment in Lawn Fawn’s White Embossing Powder and set it with my heat tool before trimming my sentiment down to size. I used a white gel pen to add faux stitching along the edges of my sentiment and popped it up in the bottom right of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I added highlights and details to my images using my white gel pen once again. I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock to frame my watercolour panel and adhered them together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Autumnal Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Fall Greetings” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
This week I wanted to share with you this autumnal card using Waffle Flower’s “Fall Greetings” stamp set! I absolutely love this set, the main image with the two little birds drew my attention right away!
123
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut two panels from white card stock, cutting a window through one of them with Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I took my panel without the window and secured it in my Misti stamping tool. I stamped my image using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink in the centre towards the top of my panel so it would fit in my window I created.
4
I coloured my image and background with my alcohol markers, using a white gel pen to add highlights and details before adhering my panel with the window on top of my coloured panel using Scor-Tape.
567
I secured my panel in to my Misti again to stamp the second half of my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, I also stamped my “hello” sentiment on some white card stock, fussy cut it out and popped it up on my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a frame for my panel and adhered both panels to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Just Because Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Keep On Swimming” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m back with another just because card using Lawn Fawn’s “Keep On Swimming” stamp set!
1
The images in this set are adorable, I was immediately drawn to the pufferfish! I stamped my images using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I used my alcohol markers to colour them but for the water in the fish bowl I used a combination of Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
2.jpg
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative cuts and used Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey cuts to cut a window to the left of my panel.
3
I used the second largest from the “Basic Rectangles” to cut another white panel, I blended over it with Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks using the Altenew “Watercolor Stripes” stencil. I cut a black panel from the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my card.
4
I used my Misti to stamp my sentiment on white card stock using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, trimmed it down to size and framed it with black card stock also to make it pop from my white panel. I adhered my white, striped and black panels together using Scor-Tape. I adhered my images with Scor-Tape also, apart from my pufferfish and sentiment strip which I adhered with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my panel flat to my card base and embellished with some blue Nuvo drops.

Just Because Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Little Monkey Agenda” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I wanted to share this card I made using Mama Elephant’s “Little Monkey Agenda” stamp set.
1
I stamped the entire set out using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I used my alcohol markers to colour them, a white gel pen to add highlights and details before fussy cutting them out.
23.jpg
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I used the “Embroidered Hello” die from Lawn fawn to cut the holes I needed for my sentiment and the window die from the “Basic Rectangles” for my window. I stitched the hello with some blue and white twine, making sure the twine was secure on the back of the panel.
4.jpg5
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and blended it with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed the panel with my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. I popped my white panel up in the centre of my blue panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I doubled up some foam tape to adhere the monkeys I had chosen for this card in to my square windows and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some light blue Nuvo drops for embellishment.
