Love Themed Card Using Hero Arts’ “Candy Hearts Peek-A-Boo” Cling Stamp!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing another love themed card, I like to have a few extra of this style on hand to show my appreciation for people throughout the year.
1
I die cut a panel from watercolour paper using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and a large scalloped panel from black card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts. I removed the foam from my Misti stamping tool and secured my watercolour panel to stamp my background using Hero Arts’ “Candy Hearts Peek-A-Boo” Cling stamp set and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. Once the ink was dry I watercoloured my candy hearts using Altenew’s Watercolor 36 Pan Set and set it aside to dry.
23
I used the Lawn Fawn “Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables” and “Lacy Heart Stackables” dies to cut 3 small hearts from both white and black card stock. I adhered my white hearts to my black hearts and secured them in my Misti. I stamped my sentiments from Mama Elephant’s “Big News” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink.
4
I popped my sentiment hearts up in a row down the centre of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering both of my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Love Themed Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Love You Bunnies” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Valentine’s Day is just a few days away now, so I’m sharing another love themed card this week! The bunnies from Waffle Flower’s “Love You Bunnies” stamp set are adorable!
1
I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink to stamp my images out on white card stock. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I adhered the coffee cups to their hands using Scor-Tape.
23
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used the smaller scalloped die from Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts to cut a window from one of these panels, this would act as my stencil. I adhered both of my panels together using some washi tape, blended over my stencil with Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and distressed it with some water.
4
I secured my panel back in my Misti so I could stamp my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I popped my images up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. Valentine’s Day Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Stud Puffin” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I have a Valentine’s Day card to share with you this week using the “Stud Puffin” stamp set from Lawn Fawn!
123
I started by stamping my images using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured my images using my alcohol markers, added highlights and details using a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out. I used Lawn Fawn’s “Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables” and “Lacy Heart Stackables” die sets to cut out two of the medium hearts from white card stock. I set my images and the lacy heart die cut to the side so I could stencil my other heart. I used the “Stained Glass Background” stencil from Honey Bee Stamps with Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks to colour my die cut before adhering both of my hearts together with Scor-Tape. I used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to pop my images up on my heart.
4
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and a black panel using the largest of the set. I used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to blend my white panel, splattered it with some water to distress it and cleaned up any excess. I also used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink diluted with some water to splatter my panel also.
5.jpg67.jpg
Once my splattered panel was dry, I wrapped some light blue and white twine around the centre, making sure the twine crossed over itself. I then secured it in my Misti to stamp my sentiment from Waffle Flower’s “Sending Love” stamp set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I popped my heart up in the centre of the twine using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Love Themed Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Sending Love” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
Now with the holidays over we can sometimes start to feel a little lost, not knowing what to really create for next! I’ve decided to start on some Valentine’s Day/Love themed cards to get over the holiday blues. Starting with the adorable “Sending Love” stamp set from Waffle Flower!
123.jpg
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. In one of the white panels I cut a heart window using the medium die from Lawn Fawn’s “Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables” dies, I’ll be using this window as a stencil to blend on to my second panel. I placed Honey Bee Stamps’ “Stained Glass Background” stencil over my white panel and secured it in place before lining up my panel with the heart window on top of that. I used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to blend over my stencils, creating a jewel effect on the heart. I removed the stencils and cut another small heart window on a smaller piece of card stock, placed it over my panel slightly overlapping my larger heart, I blended it with Shaded Lilac and a little Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.
456
I wrapped some blue and white twine around my panel, adhering it on the back with some washi tape. I secured my panel in my Misti stamping tool and stamped my sentiment just above the twine using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I stamped my image using my Misti and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink once again and coloured it with my alcohol markers. I added highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting it out and adhering it to my panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock. I adhered both panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Holiday Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Fuzzy Hugs” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m sharing another holiday themed card this week! This time I’m using the adorable “Fuzzy Hugs” stamp set from Mama Elephant!
12
I adhered a piece of white card stock in my Misti stamping tool and stamped all of the images from the set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured all of my images with my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I chose to use the bunnies for this card!
3
I used Heffy Doodle’s “Candy Store” stencil with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to create my pattern on some white card stock before cutting out my heart using Lawn Fawn’s “Lacy Heart Stackables” dies.
45
I used the largest and second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut panels from black and white card stock. I also cut a panel from black card stock using the second largest, and cut a portion of it out using the “Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables” from Lawn Fawn. I splattered my heart piece with silver metallic watercolour paint. Once my heart piece was dry, I adhered it to my white panel using Scor-Tape and secured it in my Misti. I stamped my sentiment above the heart using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I adhered my white panel to my black frame panel using Scor-Tape, and popped up my patterned heart and rabbits using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam tape before adhering my panel to my card base.

Three Christmas Cards Using Mama Elephant’s “The Penguin’s Waddle” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I’m starting to get prepared for Christmas this year to avoid the last minute rush that usually happens late November/early December! If you’re looking for a way to make quick cards that are easy to make multiples of, “The Penguin’s Waddle” stamp set from Mama Elephant is perfect! I have three cards using this set to share with you today!
12
I cut three panels from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my penguins on my panels using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, two vertically and one horizontally. I stamped a copy on some masking paper and carefully trimmed it out and placed my mask over my penguins on one of the vertical panels. I shifted my panel over to the side and stamped my second lot of penguins above my mask to create the fuller panel of penguins. I coloured my horizontal panel and my vertical panel with the most penguins using my alcohol markers, I also coloured the penguins on the second vertical panel but left the top portion of my panel white and fussy cut them out. I added highlights and details using a white gel pen, including some snow on the panels where I coloured the background.
34
I cut another panel from white card stock with the same die as before and blended it with Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered some water on my panel with a paintbrush and cleaned off the excess to give it the distressed look, this will be my “snow” for this card! Once my ink on the panel was dry I secured it in my Misti and stamped my “Warm Wishes” sentiment from Waffle Flower’s “Fall Greetings” stamp set directly on my panel using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I popped up my penguins I fussy cut earlier at the bottom using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
5
I secured my horizontal panel in to my Misti next and stamped my sentiment from Mama Elephant’s “Snow Friends” stamp set also using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink.
6
I secured a strip of black card stock in to my Misti and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment from Mama Elephant’s “Cool Penguin” stamp set using Versamark ink, coated it in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I trimmed it down to size and used my white gel pen to create the stitched effect around the sides. I popped my sentiment up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
7
I cut three black panels using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I adhered each of my panels to the black panels and to my card bases using Scor-Tape.

Just Because Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Little Monkey Agenda” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I wanted to share this card I made using Mama Elephant’s “Little Monkey Agenda” stamp set.
1
I stamped the entire set out using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I used my alcohol markers to colour them, a white gel pen to add highlights and details before fussy cutting them out.
23.jpg
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I used the “Embroidered Hello” die from Lawn fawn to cut the holes I needed for my sentiment and the window die from the “Basic Rectangles” for my window. I stitched the hello with some blue and white twine, making sure the twine was secure on the back of the panel.
4.jpg5
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and blended it with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed the panel with my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. I popped my white panel up in the centre of my blue panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I doubled up some foam tape to adhere the monkeys I had chosen for this card in to my square windows and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some light blue Nuvo drops for embellishment.

Two Cards Using Avery Elle’s “Sweetest” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I thought I’d share two cards I made using Avery Elle’s “Sweetest” stamp set! As we had a bit of a heat wave recently I thought it would be fun to play around with these cute ice lollies and ice cream images!
First Card:
1
I stamped two of the ice cream images out using my Misti with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers, I added highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
2.jpg3.jpg4
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used Heffy Doodle’s “Candy Store” stencil with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks to create my front panel. I blended the second panel with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and sprayed it with my distress sprayer. I used one of the dies from Lawn Fawn’s “Lacy Heart Stackables” to create my window in my blue and white panel.
56
I used one of the dies from Lawn Fawn’s “Shadow Box Card” die set to cut my sentiment panel, running the top of it through again to partially die cut it to size. I secured it in my Misti and stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I adhered my panels together with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before popping my images and sentiment up with foam tape also. I cut a panel from black card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and adhered my front panel to it and then to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some light blue Nuvo drops for embellishment.
P42 AE Sweetest (1)
Second Card:
78910.jpg
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my ice lollies in a pattern going across the top of the panel and masked them with masking paper. I blended the edges of the panel using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and the centre with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to give it an ombre effect. I distressed the panel with some water, once it was dry I peeled off the masks. I cut away a section of the panel, keeping the bottom part of it. I coloured my images and added highlights with a white gel pen. I cut another panel from white card stock using the same die and blended it with Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink before distressing that also. I lined up where I wanted my sentiment to be on the orange panel, secured it in my Misti and stamped it with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I wrapped some blue and white twine around my bottom blue panel before adhering both of the blue panels to my orange panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I framed it with a panel cut from black card stock like in the previous card and adhered to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Birthday Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Be Hap-Pea” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m back this week with another birthday card, I find it handy to always have a couple stashed away in case I forget or I’m too busy to sit down and create one week! This time I’m using the adorable “Be Hap-Pea” stamp set from Lawn Fawn, I love a good punny set!
5
I stamped a couple of the peas out and one of the pods using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I used some of the adorable faces that come with the set to give them different expressions! As I planned for this to be a birthday card I made sure to stamp one wearing a party hat too. I coloured them using my alcohol markers and added some highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them all out. I used a craft knife to cut along the middle line of the pea pod so I could adhere three of my peas inside it using Scor-Tape.
12.jpg4
I cut all of my panels from heavy weight white card stock, I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant for my background panel. For my focal point on my card I used the smaller scalloped die from the “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant and used one of the circle dies from Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts to create the window. I used the leaf stamp from the set to stamp leaves all over my background panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink again, coloured them with my alcohol markers and used a white gel pen to add highlights.
36
I used my Misti stamping tool to keep my scalloped panel in place and used my powder tool applicator to prep my panel. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp my sentiment, removing it from my Misti before coating it in clear embossing powder and setting the powder with my heat tool. I cut another scalloped panel from white card stock and blended it with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink, sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. I adhered the yellow panel behind my windowed panel using Scor-Tape so my window would have the yellow background.
78
I adhered my peas in the pod and the one slightly behind it with Scor-Tape, but decided to pop the one standing on top of the pod up with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I took my scalloped panel, adhered it to my background panel using foam tape once again so it was slightly raised and adhered to my card base.
P25 LF Be Hap-Pea
Thanks for reading lovelies! Do you always keep a stash of birthday cards at the ready? I have to admit I’ve been pretty poor at keeping a stash myself lately, but I’m slowly building one back up! I’ll see you next week with another card!
