Birthday Card Using Heffy Doodle’s “Oh Crumbs” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
It was my mum’s birthday on Friday, she’s just as obsessed with dogs as I am so what better set to use for her card than the adorable “Oh Crumbs” stamp set from Heffy Doodle?! As soon as I saw this set I knew it was a must have, the corgis are just the sweetest and I love how you even have the option for spinner cards with the front and back end of one of them!
12.jpg
Any time I get a new stamp set I always start by stamping the entire thing out so I have plenty to colour before deciding which images I want to work with, I use my Misti to do this as I find it’s quick and easy to stamp an entire set out at once. I coloured up one of the corgis and some of the extras with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights and details with a gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
3
I used the largest scalloped stitched die from Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts to cut a panel from heavy weight white card stock. I blended my background over the Altenew “Watercolor Stripes” Stencil, using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink on the outside edges and blending Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink in the centre. I sprayed my panel lightly with my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water with a paper towel.
45
I cut a circle from white card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts and lightly blended the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I secured my circle in to my Misti and prepared it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped the “Oh Crumbs!” part of my sentiment directly on to my circle, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. While the melted embossing powder was still hot I covered it with embossing powder again and heat set it, to give it a smoother and more raised effect.
6
I cut a small strip of white card stock down to fit my second half of my sentiment and used Versafine Onyx Black ink once again to stamp it, however I didn’t choose to heat emboss this part.
78.jpg
I cut a panel of white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative cuts and blending from the outside in using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I adhered both of my panels together using 1/2″ Scor-Tape. I adhered my circle flat to my panel and arranged my scene on top of it. I used my 1/2″ Scor-Tape to adhere the teapot and sugar bowl before popping my other images up with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I finished up by popping my sentiment strip up with foam tape too and adhering my panel to my card base with Scor-Tape.

Thanks for reading lovelies! Is there a specific stamp category you have a weakness for? For me anything with dogs or food feels like a must have, which made this one impossible to resist for me! I’ll be back next week with another card, see you then!

Birthday Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Stackable Cuties” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m back this week to share a birthday card using Mama Elephant’s “Stackable Cuties” stamp set!
12
I cut a panel from white card stock using Altenew’s “Cube Cover” die and another panel the same size to back it with. I placed some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink on my glass craft mat and sprayed it with some water, I placed my backing panel on to my ink multiple times making sure to dry it with my heat tool between layers. Once I was happy with my background panel I splattered both panels with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink and pink metallic watercolour paint to give it a little shimmer. Once both layers were dry I adhered them together.
3.jpg4
I cut a small circle from white card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts and trimmed down a black strip of card. I adhered both of these to my panel flat.
56.jpg7.jpg
I stamped my images from Mama Elephant’s “Stackable Cuties” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights with a gel pen before fussy cutting them out. I adhered the elephant and fox flat to the circle and popped the unicorn up with a piece of 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I prepared some white card stock using my powder tool applicator and stamped my little speech bubble sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool. I fussy cut my speech bubble out and popped it up on my panel. I cut a piece of black card stock slightly larger than my panel, adhered it at the back to frame my card and adhered to my card base.

Cute Valentine Card Using Stamps From Heffy Doodle & Mama Elephant!

Hey lovelies!
I’m here with an extra post today as I wanted to publish this in time for Valentine’s Day this week! This is my personal favourite of all the cards I’ve created for the occasion this year!
1.jpg2.jpg
I started by drawing a rough estimate I wanted the shape of my pile of letters to be. I took my small envelope stamp from Heffy Doodle’s “Yappy Happy Mail” stamp set and stamped a couple along the bottom using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I created masks for the envelopes using some post it tape. I repeated the masking and stamping process until I was happy with how it looked.
3.jpg4.jpg
I cut a section of the letters out with the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and proceeded to colour my envelopes with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights to the hearts on the envelopes with a white gel pen and fussy cut the top edge.
56.jpg
I cut a panel using the same die from white card stock and blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink up from the bottom to the point where it would peek above the pile of letters. I blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink from the top of the panel and together with the Worn Lipstick before spraying the entire panel with my Distress Sprayer. Once my pink panel was completely dry I prepared it with my powder tool applicator as I wanted to emboss my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment from Mama Elephant’s “Flying With Friends” stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool. I adhered my pile of letters flat to the bottom of the panel.
7.jpg8.jpg
I stamped my pig image from Mama Elephant’s “Hogs and Kisses” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights with my gel pen before fussy cutting him out also. I popped him up on my pile of letters using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I wanted to add some extra envelopes so I stamped, coloured and fussy cut a couple out separately before popping them up with foam tape around my pig and in the pile of letters for some added dimension. I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and blended it with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink, I distressed my panel with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. Once my panel was dry I adhered everything together to my card base.

Coffee With A Splash Of Love! Using Altenew’s “Coffee With A Splash” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Sharing another love themed card this week, this time I’m sharing my love for coffee with you using the Altenew “Coffee With A Splash” stamp set! This style is way out of my comfort zone as I’m familiar with using cutesy images on my card, it’s always good to dust off the cobwebs and dive in to something a little different!
1.jpg2
I started by cutting two panels of card stock from the largest and second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, one from black card stock and the other from white. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to create the coffee background by placing some of the ink on to my glass craft mat, spraying it with water, repeatedly placing my white panel in to it and drying between every layer. I used the same ink and some gold metallic watercolour paint to splatter my panel also to add a little more texture to the background. Once my panel was completely dry I stamped my coffee stains all over the background using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
3
I cut a circle from black card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I prepped my circle with my powder tool applicator, stamped my coffee cup with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder.
45
I cut a sentiment strip from white card stock and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I adhered both my black circle with my coffee cup and my sentiment strip to my background with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my background to my black panel. I adhered this to my card base and finished with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment!

Simple Watercolour Card Using Concord & 9th’s “Monster Love” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
We’ve shifted from Christmas cards to Valentine’s Day cards in the craft world, so today I thought I’d share with you this simple card using Concord & 9th’s “Monster Love” stamp set! As soon as these cuties were released I knew I had to have them!
4
I stamped my monster and his tummy first using Archival Jet Black ink on some watercolour paper. I masked the monster while I stamped the balloon and string, I used the “love you” sentiment in the balloon this time to fit with the theme.
1.jpg
I used Altenew’s watercolour palette to colour my monster and background. I also dotted some of the paint around the background while it was still damp to add the confetti look to my panel. I finished up by adding some white highlights using a white gel pen before using the Mama Elephant “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut out my panel.
2.jpg3
I cut a sentiment strip and prepped it using my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I cut another panel using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant again to frame my panel, adhered my watercolour panel to it and used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to attach my sentiment to my panel. I adhered my panel to my card base and decided to leave it there to keep it simple!

Simple Happy New Year Cards Using Mama Elephant’s “Happy New Year Wishes” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that 2018 treated you well, now we’re speeding towards 2019 I thought I’d share with you some simple cards I made to welcome in the new year with you all! New Year cards aren’t typically a tradition here in the UK but with Mama Elephant’s “Happy New Year Wishes” stamp set how is a girl supposed to say no?!
1.jpg
I started by making some very simple backgrounds using Distress Oxide Ink and metallic watercolour paint. I cut a panel of white card stock down to the size I needed for this, I smooshed some Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink on to my glass crafting mat and sprayed it with water. I placed my card stock down in to the ink in a random fashion and dried it after lifting it each time to get the layered effect, I repeated this process multiple times with my inks and gold metallic watercolour paint. I used Broken China Distress Oxide Ink for the blue example and I did a simple white and gold version with the leftover metallic watercolour paint that I didn’t want to waste after I had finished with my coloured panels!
2.jpg
I cut each of my panels using the largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts once they were all completely dry. I used my powder tool applicator over all of my panels, stamped my sentiment in the centre using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool.
3
I cut some black panels from the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, as these are slightly larger than the dies I used for my front panel I felt they gave it a nice border with the stitched detail!
P11 ME Happy New Year Wishes
I adhered each of my panels to my card bases and finished them off with some Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops, leaving them to dry for 24 hours in a safe place undisturbed. I really love the marbled effect you can achieve with this technique!

Hip Hip Hoo-Ray! Cute Peekaboo Card Using Heffy Doodle “Hootiful” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Today I’m sharing this peekaboo card I made using Heffy Doodle’s “Hootiful” stamp set along with the Mama Elephant “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts! I originally had another idea for this card, but thanks to Katrina over at Bumbleberry Papercrafts’ super speedy shipping I managed to whip this up in no time!
12
I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added highlights and details with my white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
2232
I cut a panel with a peekaboo window from white card stock using two of the Mama Elephant “Framed Tag” Waverly Creative Cuts. I blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink over my panel, sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water.
4151
I cut another of the peekaboo windows from some pink polka dot patterned paper and adhered it to the inside of the flap to give it an extra finishing touch. I cut a small rectangle from white card stock using Lawn Fawn’s Shadow Box Card Dies and prepped it with my powder tool. I stamped my sentiment from Heffy Doodle’s “Hootiful” set in Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I adhered this to the front of the peekaboo flap.
6
I cut a panel from white card stock, blended Broken China and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink over it to create my sky. I splattered it with white watercolour paint to give it the starry effect.
7
I cut some hills freehand from white card stock and blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink on to them before adhering them to my background. I decided on placement for my images and adhered everything down. I created my card base by cutting two of the scalloped panels, I scored the back one and adhered the top to the other, I adhered the front panel on to the card base I created to finish.

Cute Firework Scene Using Lawn Fawn and MFT Stamps!

Hey lovelies!
With Guy Fawkes night just around the corner I created this “just because” card using the gorgeous new “Winter Skies” set from Lawn Fawn alongside MFT’s “Fireworks” set! We don’t usually send cards for Guy Fawkes night here, but for me if there’s a celebration that’s reason enough for me to make a card to send to my loved ones!
1.jpg
I cut a panel using the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, stamped my fireworks using Versamark ink, coated them in white embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I blended Abandoned Coral, Mermaid Lagoon and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink in small areas all over my panel before blending Black Soot Distress Ink all over keeping it darker towards the edges. I sprayed my panel with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. I splattered the entire panel using white watercolour paint and some metallic gold watercolour paint to give a slight shimmer.
2.jpg3.jpg
I stamped my images from Lawn Fawn’s “Winter Skies” set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I fussy cut them out and added some highlights with a white gel pen. To ground my images I cut a panel the same size as my background from black card stock, and cut a simple hill shape using my scissors before adhering everything in to place.
45.jpg
I cut a larger panel from white card stock using the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to frame my smaller panel and stamped it with fireworks using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink. I used my powder tool on the black hill piece of my card, stamped my sentiment from Neat and Tangled’s “Beavers Eh” stamp set, heat embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered everything to my card base!

Thanks for reading lovelies! I definitely love how well these two sets work together! I feel like this would be a great idea for New Year cards too!

Simple Christmas Cards Using Mama Elephant’s “Little Agenda” Sets!

Hello there lovelies!
Time to dust off my laptop and get back to blogging! I took a short break but I’m back now, with exciting news! I’m thrilled to share with you that I have joined a group of talented crafters on the Bumbleberry Papercrafts design team! Bumbleberry’s is a UK based store that carries quality craft supplies from leading American brands, so if you’re like me and reside in the UK but struggle to find some of your favourite brands without paying a fortune in shipping – head on over to the shop to have a look around!
Today I have a mini set of 3 Christmas cards to share with you as my first project at Bumbleberry’s, anybody else find themselves panicking about how many cards you have to make in the small amount of time you have before the holidays? The Little Agenda stamps are a perfect solution to this, the images are small enough so colouring is over in a flash! Paired with the Basic Rectangle Creative Cuts also from Mama Elephant made creating these so incredibly quick and easy!
1
I stamped these adorable snowmen from the Little Snowman Agenda set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I added some highlights using a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
23
I cut my panel and the window using the Basic Rectangle Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I prepped my panel using my powder tool, stamped my sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Christmas Dreams stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool.
456
Now that my front panel was ready, I blended some Broken China Distress Oxide Ink on a strip of white card stock, distressed it using my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. I adhered it to the back of my panel, popped my little snowmen in to place and adhered it to my card base!
P1 Snowmen.jpg
I cut multiple panels at once in order to make this a mini set of 3! Here are the other two cards I created using the Little Reindeer Agenda and Little Santa Agenda sets:

Simple Halloween Card Using Simon Says Stamp “If The Hat Fits”!

Hey lovelies!
Back to the Halloween cards today! Now I know not a lot of people have hours and hours to spend making their cards for every occasion, so today I thought I’d share a really simple way of making cute cards fast! The “If The Hat Fits” set from Simon Says Stamp is a really amazing set to achieve simple but fun cards, the hat images are a great size for a focal point and the larger sentiments compliment them perfectly!
1.jpg
I had previously stamped out this set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink as I knew I wanted to use it for this year’s Halloween cards. I did some quick colouring using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and added details/highlights with my white gelly roll pen.
Spectrum Noir markers used:
Hat: LG5, LG3, LG2
Ribbon: CR7, OR2, FS9
2.jpg
I fussy cut out my image, I used my craft knife to cut the little piece between the bend of the hat and the ribbon. I cut down a panel for my card and blended in a circular motion towards the bottom left using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink (I just love how greens and yellows compliment each other!), sprayed it with my distress sprayer before cleaning up any excess water with a paper towel. I splattered my panel with black watercolour paint and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink using a paintbrush and some water then allowed it to completely dry. Once it was dry I prepped my panel with my EK Success powder tool, I stamped my sentiment at a slight angle using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I stamped a couple of the stars from the set with Versafine ink to draw attention to my sentiment. I adhered the hat to my panel using double sided foam tape to add some dimension. Finally I framed my panel using black card stock and adhered to my card base using double sided score tape!
