Just Because Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Wish Upon A Star” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
“Just because” cards are probably my favourites to make, as I tend to send cards to my loved ones quite often out of the blue to let them know I’m thinking of them. The “Wish Upon A Star” stamp set from Mama Elephant is adorable and I had to get it, especially when I saw that bunny on the moon!
1
I stamped all of the images out in my Misti using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured the three images I planned to use for my card using my alcohol markers. I added white highlights and details using a gel pen before I fussy cut them out.
23.jpg
I cut a small scalloped panel from white card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts. I secured it in my Misti and stamped the clouds using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink again. I coloured the clouds with my alcohol markers using the colourless blender to blend the grey ink out a little. I used Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts to cut a window towards the top of my panel.
4
I cut another panel from white card stock using the small scalloped die and blended it with Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered it with some white metallic watercolour paint to give the illusion of stars. Once the paint was dry I adhered this background behind my panel with the clouds so the colour would only show behind the window. I adhered the bunny sitting on the moon flat to my panel using Scor-Tape and popped the cloud up just below him with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
5
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I put down some pink metallic watercolour paint on to my glass craft mat, sprayed it with water and placed my card stock in to it repeatedly, being sure to dry it using my heat tool between layers. I splattered the panel with the same watercolour paint (slightly more concentrated) and set aside to dry. While the paint was drying I stamped my sentiment on a strip of white card stock using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink again and cut in to the ends to create my banner. I adhered my scalloped panel to my background panel with the watercolour paint, adhered my sentiment banner flat under the window using Scor-Tape and popped the bunny up to the side of it using foam tape. I cut one last panel from white card stock to frame my scene using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and adhered everything to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Get Well Soon Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Get Well Before ‘N Afters” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
With all of the cold weather we’ve been having it seems it’s germ season! Almost everyone I know has the cold/flu (myself included!) so this week I thought I’d share a simple get well soon card to send to your loved ones while they’re a little under the weather!
1.jpg
I stamped the cute sick whale from Lawn Fawn’s “Get Well Before ‘N Afters” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured it with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights as well as dotted details to the whale’s cheeks before fussy cutting my image out.
2.jpg3.jpg4
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I covered the top half of my panel with some post it tape so I could use a stencil on the lower half without marking the top area of my panel. I used the Altenew “Halftone” Stencil and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide ink to blend the bottom half of my panel to create the pattern at the bottom. Once I was happy with the stencilling, I removed the post it tape from the top and used it to cover the pattern the stencil had created. I used Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink, mixed them with water on my glass craft mat and splattered the top half of my panel with both ink colours.
56
Once the ink splatter was dry I wrapped two pieces of twine around my panel just above the pattern on the bottom and adhered them to the back. I took a small strip of white card stock and stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I popped up my whale just above the top piece of twine and my sentiment on the bottom half of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
7.jpg8.jpg
I cut another panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts this time and blended the edges using Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I used 1/2″ Scor-Tape to adhere both of my panels together and on to my card base.

Cute Birthday Card Using Heffy Doodle’s “Dinky Dinos” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
March is a month full of birthdays for me, so this week I’m sharing another birthday card this time using Heffy Doodle’s “Dinky Dinos” stamp set! I have a fascination with dinosaurs and these tiny little stamps were too adorable, I couldn’t resist!
1.jpg
I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added white highlights using a gel pen, then added some texture to the egg shell and dinos with some blue and red coloured pencils.
2.jpg
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts, I used the second smallest of the “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps to create a window in my panel.
3
I cut a small square big enough to cover the background of my window and blended it with Evergreen Bough and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink, I sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water with a paper towel. I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” dies to create a layer to go behind my white panel and blended it with the same two inks.
45.jpg
I attached the ink blended square to the back of my window with 1\2″ Scor Tape and stamped my sentiment within the green circle using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I popped my little dinos up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and wrapped two pieces of blue and white twine around my panel, adhering them on the back. I adhered both of my panels together and on to my card base using Scor Tape.

Cute Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Let’s Toast” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m here to share a cute love/friendship themed card using Lawn Fawn’s “Let’s Toast” stamp set! I love sending these cards to my closest friends and not only my significant other, just to let them know how much I care!
1.jpg2.jpg
I stamped some of the images from the set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added a little extra shading to my toaster using coloured pencil to give it some extra texture as well. I stamped the images’ rosy cheeks with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, added some highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting out my images. I used a craft knife to cut a slit in the first toaster slot so I could adhere one of my pieces of toast inside the toaster with ease!
345.jpg
I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to the height I wanted for the base of my panel and cut it with the second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I cut a panel from white card stock using the same die, lightly blended it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and splattered it with the same colour for added texture on my background. I cut a thin piece of white card stock to make a border between the patterned paper and my background, I blended it with some Iced Spruce distress oxide ink lightly before adhering all my pieces together.
67.jpg
I adhered my toaster with the toast popping out slightly flat to my panel. I wanted the other slice popped out completely, so I stamped the motion lines with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink above my toaster before popping the other slice of toast and the butter up with some 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. For my sentiment I cut down a thin strip of black card stock and prepared it with my powder tool. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink, I coated it in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder, set it with my heat tool and popped it up with foam tape also. I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel of black card stock to frame my scene and adhered everything to my card base.

Birthday Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Stackable Cuties” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m back this week to share a birthday card using Mama Elephant’s “Stackable Cuties” stamp set!
12
I cut a panel from white card stock using Altenew’s “Cube Cover” die and another panel the same size to back it with. I placed some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink on my glass craft mat and sprayed it with some water, I placed my backing panel on to my ink multiple times making sure to dry it with my heat tool between layers. Once I was happy with my background panel I splattered both panels with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink and pink metallic watercolour paint to give it a little shimmer. Once both layers were dry I adhered them together.
3.jpg4
I cut a small circle from white card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts and trimmed down a black strip of card. I adhered both of these to my panel flat.
56.jpg7.jpg
I stamped my images from Mama Elephant’s “Stackable Cuties” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights with a gel pen before fussy cutting them out. I adhered the elephant and fox flat to the circle and popped the unicorn up with a piece of 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I prepared some white card stock using my powder tool applicator and stamped my little speech bubble sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool. I fussy cut my speech bubble out and popped it up on my panel. I cut a piece of black card stock slightly larger than my panel, adhered it at the back to frame my card and adhered to my card base.

Cute Valentine Card Using Stamps From Heffy Doodle & Mama Elephant!

Hey lovelies!
I’m here with an extra post today as I wanted to publish this in time for Valentine’s Day this week! This is my personal favourite of all the cards I’ve created for the occasion this year!
1.jpg2.jpg
I started by drawing a rough estimate I wanted the shape of my pile of letters to be. I took my small envelope stamp from Heffy Doodle’s “Yappy Happy Mail” stamp set and stamped a couple along the bottom using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I created masks for the envelopes using some post it tape. I repeated the masking and stamping process until I was happy with how it looked.
3.jpg4.jpg
I cut a section of the letters out with the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and proceeded to colour my envelopes with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights to the hearts on the envelopes with a white gel pen and fussy cut the top edge.
56.jpg
I cut a panel using the same die from white card stock and blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink up from the bottom to the point where it would peek above the pile of letters. I blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink from the top of the panel and together with the Worn Lipstick before spraying the entire panel with my Distress Sprayer. Once my pink panel was completely dry I prepared it with my powder tool applicator as I wanted to emboss my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment from Mama Elephant’s “Flying With Friends” stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool. I adhered my pile of letters flat to the bottom of the panel.
7.jpg8.jpg
I stamped my pig image from Mama Elephant’s “Hogs and Kisses” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights with my gel pen before fussy cutting him out also. I popped him up on my pile of letters using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I wanted to add some extra envelopes so I stamped, coloured and fussy cut a couple out separately before popping them up with foam tape around my pig and in the pile of letters for some added dimension. I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and blended it with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink, I distressed my panel with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. Once my panel was dry I adhered everything together to my card base.

Cute Sea Themed Birthday Card Using Avery Elle’s “Sea-prise” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I thought I’d change it up from all the love themed posts this week and make a birthday card instead. Sea themed stamps are ones I’ve always struggled with, however I have a huge love for sharks and finally gave in to getting the “Sea-prise” stamp set from Avery Elle!
1.jpg
I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to my images and some texture to my pufferfish before fussy cutting them out.
234.jpg
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and cut a window in the panel using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I stamped the little bubbles all over my panel using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink to add a little more detail to my panel. Once my ink was completely dry (with no risk of me smudging it!) I stamped my sentiment above my circle window using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
5
I cut a panel from white card stock bigger than my circle window. I blended Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink on to my card stock, keeping Broken China towards the bottom of it. I sprayed it using my Distress Sprayer and cleaned off the excess water with a paper towel.
6
I backed my white panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered the blue panel behind my window. I added some foam tape to the back of my shark and pufferfish also, adding the shark inside the circle and the pufferfish on the outer edge before adhering my entire panel to my card base.

Happy New Home Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Happy Village” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a new home card, you never know when someone you care for will move home, it’s always handy to have a card to welcome them in to their new space! I thought Lawn Fawn’s “Happy Village” stamp set would be perfect for this occasion!
1.jpg2.jpg
I started by blending two backgrounds using Heffy Doodle’s “UnbeLEAFable” stencil and Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink.  I splattered my backgrounds with the Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink and some gold watercolour paint before putting them aside to dry. Once they were completely dry I die cut two polaroid frames using Avery Elle’s “Photo Mat Elle-ments” so I could arrange my scenes within them.
3
I cut two panels the same size as my polaroid frames and blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink, completely coating them. I adhered these to the backs of my polaroid frames, this acts as my sky in my scenes.
4.jpg
I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I also took some of the scenery pieces from the Avery Elle “Photo Mat Elle-Ments” dies and coloured them also. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and adhered them in to my frames. I popped the “Home Sweet Home” sentiment up with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to give it a little bit of dimension.
56
I cut a panel of white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts, splattering it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and gold watercolour paint. Once my background panel was dry I adhered my first polaroid scene flat, popped my second scene up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base.

Coffee With A Splash Of Love! Using Altenew’s “Coffee With A Splash” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Sharing another love themed card this week, this time I’m sharing my love for coffee with you using the Altenew “Coffee With A Splash” stamp set! This style is way out of my comfort zone as I’m familiar with using cutesy images on my card, it’s always good to dust off the cobwebs and dive in to something a little different!
1.jpg2
I started by cutting two panels of card stock from the largest and second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, one from black card stock and the other from white. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to create the coffee background by placing some of the ink on to my glass craft mat, spraying it with water, repeatedly placing my white panel in to it and drying between every layer. I used the same ink and some gold metallic watercolour paint to splatter my panel also to add a little more texture to the background. Once my panel was completely dry I stamped my coffee stains all over the background using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
3
I cut a circle from black card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I prepped my circle with my powder tool applicator, stamped my coffee cup with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder.
45
I cut a sentiment strip from white card stock and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I adhered both my black circle with my coffee cup and my sentiment strip to my background with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my background to my black panel. I adhered this to my card base and finished with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment!

Cute Valentine’s Day Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Little Bear Agenda” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card using Mama Elephant’s “Little Bear Agenda” stamp set! I have a feeling these cuties are going to be appearing in a lot of my love themed cards this year!
1.jpg
I stamped the entire set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers, I like to batch stamp/colour when I know I’m going to be making lots of cards with this set! I added details and highlights using a white gel pen and fussy cut my images out.
2.jpg
I cut down a piece of white card stock and used the “Halftone Stencil” from Altenew to ink it up with “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink. I used Avery Elle’s “Photo Mat Elle-Ments” dies to cut out my polaroid photo frame from my card stock and once extra with some plain white card stock. I adhered both of the photo frames together to make it a little sturdier.
3.jpg4.jpg
I took the pieces of the scene from the white layer of the die and coloured them to create my background. I used my alcohol markers for the grass and clouds and “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink once again for my sky. I cut some trees from Lawn Fawn’s “Shadow Box Card” dies and used my alcohol markers to colour them also. I adhered my photo frame to some white card stock the same size as the frame itself and assembled my background inside it.
5.jpg
I added my little bears and my trees to my background scene. I took a panel of white card stock slightly larger than the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, smooshed some of the “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink on to my glass crafting mat, sprayed it with water and placed my card stock on top making sure to dry between each layer. I repeated the process with some gold watercolour paint before cutting it with the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I cut a vellum layer using the largest die from the “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant to separate the background from my polaroid frame. I adhered these three layers together, stamped my sentiment from Neat and Tangled’s “Beavers Eh” stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut it from the washi tape die in the Avery Elle “Photo Mat Elle-Ments” die set. I popped my sentiment up on the vellum using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to match the thickness of the photo frame, adhered my panel to my card base and added some blue Nuvo Drops to finish.
