Celebration Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Tiny Terrarium” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Today I’m sharing a celebration card using the “Tiny Terrarium” stamp set from Waffle Flower! I love the image from this set and knew I wanted to keep the rest of the card simple to let it really shine on it’s own.
12
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my image using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured it using my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights and details with a gel pen and fussy cut it out. I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and cut a window in the centre using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Polygons” Honey Cuts.
34
I cut another panel using the “Basic Rectangles” and ink blended on to it with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I distressed it with my distress sprayer, let it sit for a moment before cleaning up the excess water. I adhered my window panel and backing panel together using Scor-Tape.
56
I secured my panel in my Misti to stamp my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I adhered my image in the centre of the polygon window using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my panel to my card base.

Two Cards Using Waffle Flower’s “Office Birthday” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing two cards using Waffle Flower’s “Office Birthday” stamp set, both relatively simple to make!
P33 WF Office Birthday 2
I was instantly drawn to these adorable hamsters as soon as I saw this set! I had to make a birthday card using them and decided to go for a more masculine feel, keeping the hamsters as the pop of colour in the corner!
I stamped my images using my Misti stamping platform with Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured them with my alcohol markers, added some details and highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I cut two panels using Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative cuts, the larger from black card stock and the smaller from white. I used the “Candy Store” stencil from Heffy Doodle, turned it on it’s side slightly so the corner reached across my white panel. I masked off the rest of my panel where I didn’t want to get ink before blending Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink over my stencil. I sprayed my panel with my distress sprayer, cleaned up the excess water before splattering my panel with the same ink. I cut a small panel using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Polygons” Honey Cuts from white card and adhered my hamsters to it as I would be using this for my focal point. I adhered the two back ones using Scor-Tape and the middle with some 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I prepared a strip of black card stock with my powder tool applicator, stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder. I adhered my black strip across my panel using Scor-Tape and popped my polygon with my hamsters up on the bottom left using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my panels together and on to a card base before finishing with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops.
P33 WF Office Birthday 1
For my second card I cut two panels once again using the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I stamped the plant image across my panel using my Misti stamping tool and Gina K’s Amalgam Jet black ink. I created masks for all three and covered them so I could ink blend over my images. I used a piece of scrap card stock to make my own stencil for this one using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts, adhered this temporarily over my white panel and blended within the circle using Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed the circle with my distress sprayer, cleaned up the excess water, splattered it with Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink before lifting my stencil and removing the masks from my images. I coloured my images using my alcohol markers and added highlights with a white gel pen, I drew some gold lines across the plant pots also using a metallic chalk marker. I prepared a strip of black card stock with my powder tool applicator, stamped my sentiment from the “Tiny Terrarium” stamp set from Waffle Flower using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder. I trimmed down my sentiment and popped it up under my images using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Encouragement Card Using Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I’m back this week with a relatively simple encouragement card using Pink Fresh Studio’s “Word Series: Dream” stamp set! I’ve always been called a dreamer and I’m typically drawn to the night sky, particularly the moon so when I saw this set I knew I’d get a lot of use from it straight away!
12
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and used Black Soot Distress Ink with some water to paint my panel. You could easily just use some black card stock for the base but I liked the added texture it gave my background! I used a combination of sponges and brushes to layer Dusty Concord and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks on different parts of my panel to give the look of a galaxy/night sky. I splattered it with white metallic watercolour paint and left it to dry for a moment while I cleaned up.
345
Once my splattering was dry I secured my panel in to my Misti and used my powder tool applicator so embossing powder would only stick to where I wanted it to. I used Versamark ink to stamp my sentiments, coated them in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder and set them with my heat tool. I decided to paint the moon and clouds with metallic watercolour paints to make them pop against the background a little more.
678
I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from black card stock and adhered my other panel to it’s centre before adhering this to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment and set my card somewhere safe to allow them to dry overnight.

Sending Hugs With Waffle Flower’s “Group Hug” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m back after a two week break to share a card I made using Waffle Flower’s “Group Hug” stamp set! The images in this stamp set are absolutely adorable, I couldn’t resist that sweet giraffe!
1.jpg
I started by using my Misti stamping platform to stamp out the large image of all the animals hugging with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I coloured it with my alcohol markers, added details with a white gel pen and fussy cut it out. The image is pretty large so it definitely takes up the majority of your card!
2
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I used the same die to cut the bottom of my image also so the finished result would be cohesive.
3.jpg
I blended over the Heffy Doodle “Dottie Lottie” stencil with Broken China and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks on to my white panel to create my background. I used my distress sprayer to distress the circles and splattered my panel with the same two ink colours to give it more texture.
4
Once my background panel had dried, I used my Misti once again to line up my sentiments and stamp them on to my panel using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I popped my image up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Friendship Card Using Concord & 9th’s “Mix Tape” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies! Happy Easter!
This week I’m sharing a simple friendship card, I love the “Mix Tape” stamp set from Concord & 9th, it’s perfect for any music lover!
2
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and secured it in my Misti stamping platform using the magnets. I stamped the layer that is used to colour within the lines of the Mix Tape stamps to stamp my pattern in Iced Spruce and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. When I had finished stamping my pattern I stamped my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and cut my sentiment strip down to size. I adhered my sentiment to the bottom right of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
1
I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a black panel to frame my patterned panel.
3.jpg
I adhered my panels together using 1/2″ Scor-Tape.
4.jpg
It was at this point I felt like it looked too clean and simple for my liking, so I masked off any areas I didn’t want to get splatter on with some Post-It Tape. I used Broken China and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink to splatter my panel. Once the ink splatters were dry I adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape and added some Ebony Black Nuvo Drops for embellishment.

Just Because Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Wish Upon A Star” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
“Just because” cards are probably my favourites to make, as I tend to send cards to my loved ones quite often out of the blue to let them know I’m thinking of them. The “Wish Upon A Star” stamp set from Mama Elephant is adorable and I had to get it, especially when I saw that bunny on the moon!
1
I stamped all of the images out in my Misti using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured the three images I planned to use for my card using my alcohol markers. I added white highlights and details using a gel pen before I fussy cut them out.
23.jpg
I cut a small scalloped panel from white card stock using Mama Elephant’s “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts. I secured it in my Misti and stamped the clouds using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink again. I coloured the clouds with my alcohol markers using the colourless blender to blend the grey ink out a little. I used Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts to cut a window towards the top of my panel.
4
I cut another panel from white card stock using the small scalloped die and blended it with Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered it with some white metallic watercolour paint to give the illusion of stars. Once the paint was dry I adhered this background behind my panel with the clouds so the colour would only show behind the window. I adhered the bunny sitting on the moon flat to my panel using Scor-Tape and popped the cloud up just below him with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
5
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I put down some pink metallic watercolour paint on to my glass craft mat, sprayed it with water and placed my card stock in to it repeatedly, being sure to dry it using my heat tool between layers. I splattered the panel with the same watercolour paint (slightly more concentrated) and set aside to dry. While the paint was drying I stamped my sentiment on a strip of white card stock using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink again and cut in to the ends to create my banner. I adhered my scalloped panel to my background panel with the watercolour paint, adhered my sentiment banner flat under the window using Scor-Tape and popped the bunny up to the side of it using foam tape. I cut one last panel from white card stock to frame my scene using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and adhered everything to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Cute Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Let’s Toast” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m here to share a cute love/friendship themed card using Lawn Fawn’s “Let’s Toast” stamp set! I love sending these cards to my closest friends and not only my significant other, just to let them know how much I care!
1.jpg2.jpg
I stamped some of the images from the set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added a little extra shading to my toaster using coloured pencil to give it some extra texture as well. I stamped the images’ rosy cheeks with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, added some highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting out my images. I used a craft knife to cut a slit in the first toaster slot so I could adhere one of my pieces of toast inside the toaster with ease!
345.jpg
I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to the height I wanted for the base of my panel and cut it with the second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I cut a panel from white card stock using the same die, lightly blended it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and splattered it with the same colour for added texture on my background. I cut a thin piece of white card stock to make a border between the patterned paper and my background, I blended it with some Iced Spruce distress oxide ink lightly before adhering all my pieces together.
67.jpg
I adhered my toaster with the toast popping out slightly flat to my panel. I wanted the other slice popped out completely, so I stamped the motion lines with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink above my toaster before popping the other slice of toast and the butter up with some 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. For my sentiment I cut down a thin strip of black card stock and prepared it with my powder tool. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink, I coated it in Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder, set it with my heat tool and popped it up with foam tape also. I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel of black card stock to frame my scene and adhered everything to my card base.

Cute Valentine Card Using Stamps From Heffy Doodle & Mama Elephant!

Hey lovelies!
I’m here with an extra post today as I wanted to publish this in time for Valentine’s Day this week! This is my personal favourite of all the cards I’ve created for the occasion this year!
1.jpg2.jpg
I started by drawing a rough estimate I wanted the shape of my pile of letters to be. I took my small envelope stamp from Heffy Doodle’s “Yappy Happy Mail” stamp set and stamped a couple along the bottom using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I created masks for the envelopes using some post it tape. I repeated the masking and stamping process until I was happy with how it looked.
3.jpg4.jpg
I cut a section of the letters out with the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and proceeded to colour my envelopes with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights to the hearts on the envelopes with a white gel pen and fussy cut the top edge.
56.jpg
I cut a panel using the same die from white card stock and blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink up from the bottom to the point where it would peek above the pile of letters. I blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink from the top of the panel and together with the Worn Lipstick before spraying the entire panel with my Distress Sprayer. Once my pink panel was completely dry I prepared it with my powder tool applicator as I wanted to emboss my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment from Mama Elephant’s “Flying With Friends” stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder before setting it with my heat tool. I adhered my pile of letters flat to the bottom of the panel.
7.jpg8.jpg
I stamped my pig image from Mama Elephant’s “Hogs and Kisses” stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him with my alcohol markers. I added some white highlights with my gel pen before fussy cutting him out also. I popped him up on my pile of letters using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I wanted to add some extra envelopes so I stamped, coloured and fussy cut a couple out separately before popping them up with foam tape around my pig and in the pile of letters for some added dimension. I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts and blended it with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink, I distressed my panel with my Distress Sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. Once my panel was dry I adhered everything together to my card base.

Coffee With A Splash Of Love! Using Altenew’s “Coffee With A Splash” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Sharing another love themed card this week, this time I’m sharing my love for coffee with you using the Altenew “Coffee With A Splash” stamp set! This style is way out of my comfort zone as I’m familiar with using cutesy images on my card, it’s always good to dust off the cobwebs and dive in to something a little different!
1.jpg2
I started by cutting two panels of card stock from the largest and second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, one from black card stock and the other from white. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to create the coffee background by placing some of the ink on to my glass craft mat, spraying it with water, repeatedly placing my white panel in to it and drying between every layer. I used the same ink and some gold metallic watercolour paint to splatter my panel also to add a little more texture to the background. Once my panel was completely dry I stamped my coffee stains all over the background using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
3
I cut a circle from black card stock using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I prepped my circle with my powder tool applicator, stamped my coffee cup with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Lawn Fawn’s white embossing powder.
45
I cut a sentiment strip from white card stock and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I adhered both my black circle with my coffee cup and my sentiment strip to my background with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my background to my black panel. I adhered this to my card base and finished with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment!

Cute Valentine’s Day Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Little Bear Agenda” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card using Mama Elephant’s “Little Bear Agenda” stamp set! I have a feeling these cuties are going to be appearing in a lot of my love themed cards this year!
1.jpg
I stamped the entire set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers, I like to batch stamp/colour when I know I’m going to be making lots of cards with this set! I added details and highlights using a white gel pen and fussy cut my images out.
2.jpg
I cut down a piece of white card stock and used the “Halftone Stencil” from Altenew to ink it up with “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink. I used Avery Elle’s “Photo Mat Elle-Ments” dies to cut out my polaroid photo frame from my card stock and once extra with some plain white card stock. I adhered both of the photo frames together to make it a little sturdier.
3.jpg4.jpg
I took the pieces of the scene from the white layer of the die and coloured them to create my background. I used my alcohol markers for the grass and clouds and “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink once again for my sky. I cut some trees from Lawn Fawn’s “Shadow Box Card” dies and used my alcohol markers to colour them also. I adhered my photo frame to some white card stock the same size as the frame itself and assembled my background inside it.
5.jpg
I added my little bears and my trees to my background scene. I took a panel of white card stock slightly larger than the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, smooshed some of the “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink on to my glass crafting mat, sprayed it with water and placed my card stock on top making sure to dry between each layer. I repeated the process with some gold watercolour paint before cutting it with the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts. I cut a vellum layer using the largest die from the “Framed Tags” Waverly Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant to separate the background from my polaroid frame. I adhered these three layers together, stamped my sentiment from Neat and Tangled’s “Beavers Eh” stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut it from the washi tape die in the Avery Elle “Photo Mat Elle-Ments” die set. I popped my sentiment up on the vellum using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to match the thickness of the photo frame, adhered my panel to my card base and added some blue Nuvo Drops to finish.
