Autumnal Card Using Waffle Flower’s “Fall Greetings” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
This week I wanted to share with you this autumnal card using Waffle Flower’s “Fall Greetings” stamp set! I absolutely love this set, the main image with the two little birds drew my attention right away!
123
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut two panels from white card stock, cutting a window through one of them with Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts. I took my panel without the window and secured it in my Misti stamping tool. I stamped my image using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink in the centre towards the top of my panel so it would fit in my window I created.
4
I coloured my image and background with my alcohol markers, using a white gel pen to add highlights and details before adhering my panel with the window on top of my coloured panel using Scor-Tape.
567
I secured my panel in to my Misti again to stamp the second half of my sentiment using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink, I also stamped my “hello” sentiment on some white card stock, fussy cut it out and popped it up on my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I used the largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a frame for my panel and adhered both panels to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Halloween Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Spooky Village” Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
I’m back this week with another simple Halloween card, this time using Lawn Fawn’s “Spooky Village” stamp set! I personally love these village sets that Lawn Fawn release, they’re great for scene building!
12
I  used my Misti stamping tool to stamp the entire set using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured my images with my alcohol markers. I added some highlights and details using a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
34
I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from matte black card stock and one from black glitter card stock. I used the second largest of the “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut the centre from my glitter panel and a panel from white card stock, I also cut a matte black panel using this die and trimmed it down so it would adhere as a thin strip across my white panel. Using Scor-Tape I  adhered my glitter frame to the matte black panel, inlaid my white panel in to the frame and adhered my black strip across my white panel.
5
I adhered my pumpkins, headstones and the two houses close to the edges flat to my panel with Scor-Tape and popped my middle houses up with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I secured my panel in to my Misti and stamped my sentiment and the bats using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink before adhering the panel to my card base.

Halloween Card Using Honey Bee Stamps’ “The Name’s Jack” Honey Cuts!

Hey lovelies!
This week I’m sharing a simple Halloween card using die cutting, this card would be great for party invitations I think as it would be easy to set up a production line for mass production! I decided on Honey Bee Stamps’ “The Name’s Jack” Honey Cuts for this card as the size of the dies themselves are great to use as a focal point!
1
I started by cutting out the two ghosts from white card stock, I held my chosen facial expressions for them in place with washi tape while I ran them through my machine again. I cut the ghost silhouettes out from black card stock and adhered to the back of my white ghosts so that their expressions were coloured in black!
2
I cut a black circle using Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts and used the second largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to trim the straight edges. I used the same die from the “Basic Rectangles” to cut a panel from white card stock and adhered my black curved panel to it using Scor-Tape. I took one of the pumpkin expressions from Honey Bee Stamps’ “The Name’s Jack” Honey Cuts and cut through the top centre of the black section. I used Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink on some white card stock to back the face to make it look like it was glowing red. I used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to pop both of my ghosts up in place as if they were looking at the red face, terrified!

Autumnal Themed Card Using Lawn Fawn’s “Outside-In Stitched Pumpkin” Dies!

Hello lovelies!
I’m back after a short break last week with an autumnal card using the Outside-In Stitched Pumpkin dies from Lawn Fawn!
125
I cut my pieces from white card stock except for the face, which I cut from black card stock. I decided not to use the face as my card went in a different direction. I used Carved Pumpkin and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks to colour my pumpkin and the stem, and coloured the tendril with green alcohol markers. I adhered my stem and tendril to the back of my pumpkin with Scor-Tape. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s “Spooky Village” stamp set on white card stock, using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink. I trimmed my sentiment strip down to size, cut the ends to create a banner shape and adhered it across my pumpkin using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape.
34
I was particularly fond of these leaves once I had created them and could definitely see myself making more like these for future autumnal cards! I used Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber and a little tiny bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks and laid them down on my glass crafting mat. I sprayed them with a little bit of water and placed my white card stock down on it repeatedly, drying between layers until I was happy with the outcome. I splattered it with some metallic gold watercolour paint to give it some more texture and shimmer before using the leaf die to cut as many as I could from the panel.
67
I used the largest of Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a black panel and the second largest to cut a white panel. I blended Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks on to my white panel, only using the Fossilized Amber around the edges. I used my Distress Sprayer to distress my panel and splattered with gold metallic watercolour paint.
89
I started to adhered my leaves to my pumpkin flat with Scor-Tape, building across the way as I went. I popped my pumpkin and leaves up on my yellow panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam tape and adhered my yellow panel to my black panel with Scor-Tape. I decided at the last minute to add two leaves under my pumpkin, one at each side with Scor-Tape as I felt it framed the pumpkin better and adhered my panel to my card base.

Halloween Card Using Mama Elephant’s “Little Boo Agenda” Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m a sucker for all things Halloween, it’s my favourite holiday out of them all! So this year I’m getting ready for it a little early with Mama Elephant’s “Little Boo Agenda” stamp set!
23
I used my Misti to stamp out the entire set (twice! I don’t joke around when it comes to Halloween!) using Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added some highlights and details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I chose the three ghosts I wanted to use for this card and set the rest aside for other projects.
14
I used Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock (I also used the largest of these dies to cut a black base panel which you’ll see later) and Honey Bee Stamps’ “Double Stitched Circles” Honey Cuts to cut out three small circles. I stamped one of the small candies from the set in a random pattern on each of the circles with Gina K’s Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them purple and green with my alcohol markers.
67
I splattered my white panel using Twisted Citron, Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. Once the panel was dry I used a smaller die from Mama Elephant’s “Basic Rectangles” Creative Cuts to cut out the centre of my splattered panel and a white panel. I adhered my splattered frame on to my black panel and inlaid my white panel using Scor-Tape. I placed my three circles down the centre to guide where I wanted my sentiments to be each time and used my Misti to stamp them one by one.
58
I popped each ghost up on the circles using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, I also used the foam tape to place my circles down the centre of my panel and adhered my panel to my card base using Scor-Tape.

Simple Halloween Card Using Simon Says Stamp “If The Hat Fits”!

Hey lovelies!
Back to the Halloween cards today! Now I know not a lot of people have hours and hours to spend making their cards for every occasion, so today I thought I’d share a really simple way of making cute cards fast! The “If The Hat Fits” set from Simon Says Stamp is a really amazing set to achieve simple but fun cards, the hat images are a great size for a focal point and the larger sentiments compliment them perfectly!
1.jpg
I had previously stamped out this set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink as I knew I wanted to use it for this year’s Halloween cards. I did some quick colouring using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and added details/highlights with my white gelly roll pen.
Spectrum Noir markers used:
Hat: LG5, LG3, LG2
Ribbon: CR7, OR2, FS9
2.jpg
I fussy cut out my image, I used my craft knife to cut the little piece between the bend of the hat and the ribbon. I cut down a panel for my card and blended in a circular motion towards the bottom left using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink (I just love how greens and yellows compliment each other!), sprayed it with my distress sprayer before cleaning up any excess water with a paper towel. I splattered my panel with black watercolour paint and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink using a paintbrush and some water then allowed it to completely dry. Once it was dry I prepped my panel with my EK Success powder tool, I stamped my sentiment at a slight angle using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I stamped a couple of the stars from the set with Versafine ink to draw attention to my sentiment. I adhered the hat to my panel using double sided foam tape to add some dimension. Finally I framed my panel using black card stock and adhered to my card base using double sided score tape!

Halloween Card Using Leftover Supplies from Love From Lizi 2017 Card Kit!

Hey lovelies!
My crafty friends who know me, know I LOVE to hoard Halloween supplies. Some things are just too pretty to use! I’ve made it my mission this year to use all the things that I’ve been hoarding for quite some time now, some of those supplies come from the Love From Lizi Halloween card kit from last year! I couldn’t bring myself to use most of the pretty papers and bits and bobs last year, so here is the first of the cards I’ve made with what I have left over!
1.jpg
I cut down two white panels one for my base and the other to ink smoosh and stamp. I ink smooshed my smaller panel with Twisted Citron and a little bit of Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink, drying between layers. Once it was completely dry I splattered some of the Evergreen Bough ink on to my ink smooshed panel and my white panel with a paint brush, I also splattered some black watercolour paint on my white panel. I stamped my skulls from the Love from Lizi “Punny Bones” set in a pattern using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I ran it through my die cutting machine with the largest of my Inside Scalloped Octagon dies from Craftin Desert Divas and removed the inside piece to use on my card. I ran the same die through once more using black card stock to create my frame.
2
I cut a piece of the green and black patterned paper in to a large ribbon to go down the left side of my card and adhered everything in to place using double sided score tape.
3.jpg
I trimmed the top off of the Octagon using my paper trimmer. I prepped a thin strip of black card stock with my EK Success powder tool and stamped my sentiment from Newton’s Nook’s “Boo-tiful Night” stamp set in Versamark ink, coated it in white embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I used my scissors to create a fish tail at the end of my sentiment banner and popped it up on my panel using double sided foam tape. I cut a panel from the patterned paper slightly larger than my base panel of my card and adhered both to my card base using double sided score tape. I finished up by framing my sentiment with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops.

Simple Halloween Card Using Lawn Fawn “Trick or Treat” set!

Hey lovelies!
I’ve been digging through my craft supplies and pulling out everything fall/Halloween related! If you know me, you know I love a good small stamp that I can make quick and easy backgrounds with! These candy corn from Lawn Fawn are no exception to that – look at their cute little faces! I couldn’t resist making a simple card using them!
1
I trimmed down a panel from white card stock and stamped my candy corn in a random pattern all over using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I usually do these backgrounds with watercolour but I love how vivid my Spectrum Noir pens make the candy corn in this case!
23.jpg
When colouring I usually work from darkest to lightest:
Orange section: CR7 -> OR3 -> OR2
Yellow section: GB4 -> GB3 -> LY1
4.jpg
I added shadows using my GG1 Spectrum Noir marker, and highlights with my white gelly roll pen. I love adding these little details as I feel like it makes them stand out more!
5.jpg
I used the smallest of my Inside Scalloped Circle dies and cut it from white card stock, removing the middle piece that I would be using for my sentiment. I blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink on to my sentiment piece, before blending some Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink around the edges for some dimension. I dried the ink with my heat tool and prepped with my EK Success powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment from Newton’s Nook’s “Boo-tiful Night” set using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I picked out some orange ribbon and backed it with double sided score tape, I adhered that directly to my panel and popped my sentiment up with some foam tape. I backed my panel with double sided score tape and adhered to my card base!

Cute ‘You’re the pick of the patch’ Halloween Card Using Newton’s Nook “Boo-tiful Night” set!

Hey lovelies!
I’m well in the spooky spirit and back with another Halloween card using Newton’s Nook “Boo-tiful Night” set! These kitties are just too cute I can’t get enough of them! Halloween stamps are my weakness, especially when they have pumpkins!
40407557_228980391128188_7015983993191399424_n
I coloured these images using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, added rosy cheeks on the grey cats using a pink coloured pencil and finished up by adding some highlights using my white gelly roll pen. I fussy cut the images out by hand and moved on to my panel.
40566535_1176043342537479_8450729724069543936_n.jpg40400218_184070099062553_4227284272181936128_n
I cut some black card stock down to size using my guillotine trimmer. I used the Flying Bats stencil from Newton’s Nook to blend Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink on to my panel, when I removed the stencil I sprinkled some clear embossing powder over the bats and set with my heat tool to give it a textured look and feel. I cut my window from my panel using Craftin Desert Divas Inside Scalloped Circle dies and removed the scalloped part so I was left with the stitched circle.
40400275_237081580308551_7666754826541203456_n40464201_1209811749159419_2182684886425403392_n.jpg
I cut my grass using the Outdoor Landscape dies from Craftin Desert Divas and ink blended it with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, and I used the Hill Scene 2 Stencil to blend some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink on to my background panel to create my clouds. I distressed the background panel with my Distress sprayer, splattered it with more Twisted Citron ink using a paintbrush and dried it before prepping it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment and the bat using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I adhered everything in to place and finished my panel using some orange ribbon, as well as some black and white twine. I blended some Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink over the edges of some white card stock slightly larger than my panel to frame my panel and adhered everything to my card base using score tape and double sided foam tape.
